I haven't had to very often (maybe twice since surgery) but when I did, I followed my surgeon's instructions for stool softener (Dulcolax) + Milk of Magnesia and it worked like a charm.

Senna-S its a stool softener laxative has been the only thing that works other than a suppository for me. My doctor told me to do what I had to do and not be miserable.

I got sleeved the same day as you and I have the same issue I now have TMI haemroids (can't spell it) the pain down there is worse than my operation pain and issues I can't go so I use an microlax enema then I go but it's awful and takes forever then last night I took two ducolax before bed and today is not a good day I'd be scared to leave the house so I go from one extreme to another than back again it's frustrating I've never ever suffered Constipation.< /p>

I take a dulcolax stool softener daily and once I have had to take a miralax laxative pill. I do not let it go more than every other day.

The best way to treat hemorrhoids is to drink plenty of Water and take Fiber. You might want to check with your Dr before taking any Fiber since you just had surgery. Also, keep in mind NORCO, Hydrocodon and other pain medications can cause Constipation.< /p>

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
