Bra math - don't try this at home.

Recommended Posts

I have quite the method for managing my bras during weight loss - I've got them stretched to last for 3 sizes a piece! Lol. When its time for new ones I go down 2 band sizes and up one cup size (because the band size is going down) from what I actually need. Then I use an extender on the band and deal with the cups being a touch small for the first size, enjoy a nice fit in both areas on the longest hook for the second size, then use cup inserts and the shortest hook for the 3rd size. I've only gone through 2 bra sizes throughout a 120 lb loss this way.

Can't wait until my weight stabilizes and I can invest in all of the hawt VS stuff!

I like the genie bra. It lasts through several band and cup sizes.

I'm already pushing my luck simply by posting here...

I've no desire to cause any lady-angst...

However, now that you've brought it up...

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
