70 grams of what? Protein? (The subject line cuts off in my feed.)

What is your Protein target?

Are you getting in all of your fluids?

Are you taking your Vitamins?

You may just be fatigued because you are still recovering from surgery.

Do your best to get in all of your protein and fluids. It really helps with recovery,

But, be patient with yourself. You did just have major surgery and your body needs time to heal.

Obviously, make sure you are getting plenty of fluids as well as all of your Vitamins. Personally, I had a lot more energy as soon as I started adding pureed fruit (mangos, peaches, berries, bananas) to my Protein smoothies.< /p>

I had the worst fatigue and brain fog. At my 2 week visit the doctor said to start taking the Vitamins asap and they really helped.

10 days out you should be resting and walking enough to keep your blood flowing, but resting.

The first 3 weeks I had a lot of energy but I got tired very fast.

Rest.

My Nut told me to start taking my Vitamins before surgery. I started taking one month before. I am 6 weeks post op, i started walking an hour a day 4 days after surgery and have not missed a day since. I feel great, with a lot energy.

Especially the B-12 Vitamin for energy. That's the only one my surgeon cleared me to start at 1 wk post op. The others, he wants me to wait until 1 month post op.

I felt like crud for many weeks post op, normal. Dehydration, even mild makes you feel really bad so focus on hydration and give yourself time to heal.

I was very tired for about four weeks post op, then the energy kicked in.

Just take it easy you are still healing from a major surgery. Focus on yourself, rest, walking, Protein and fluids and eventually all this will pass.

Hang in there and good luck!!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
