I have tried gas x and they seem to help with the gas and bloating. I am going to try some milk of magnesia tonight bc I have yet to go to the bathroom. (TMI ???? sorry)

Anyone else have intense pain after sitting for any length of time? I went with my family to a movie tonight and walking out my pain was crazy intense and I got nauseous. Just took a Zofran and am laying down with an ice pack. TIA

That's awesome! My post op appointment is Wed 12/9. My drain was removed in the hospital before I was discharged so I don't have to worry about that.

I'm still nervous though. My surgeon is very strict and not easily impressed, and I've had a very hard time with getting in my Protein and Water. I just know he's not gonna be too happy with me. On paper I'm sure it looks like I haven't been doing what I should but I don't know how to do more...it just feels like nothing else will fit! I have yet to use the bathroom either. I took Milk of Magnesia this morning and it was still a no-go (ha). ????

I agree, getting all the Fluid and Protein in is like a full time job. I am supposed to be getting 48 oz. of liquid. Haven't hit more than 32 yet. Have you tried sugar free Popsicles? Those seem to go down easiest for me. If it means anything, the dr. told me today not to worry too much about pooping as long as I wasn't feeling super bloated and uncomfortable. Let us know how Wed. goes, Brianna!
