Surgery is sept 9 leave for disney oct 11 any advice

That is a tough one. I went to disney several months post op and that is quite a bit further than you will be. I packed a lot of my own food. There were some things where I just bit the bullet and got a meal, like the character meals where you are "paying for the experience" and you can't really "not" eat their food. So I did that a few times, but other times I would pack things that I knew I could eat and take them along in our bag.

I took a mini vacation exactly one month post-op. For me it was mostly OK. But, I did have to make time to nap one day when we did a lot of walking. Just 30 minutes but it was essential to me continuing the day normally. My advise would be to schedule a nap everyday. You'll need it and maybe if it's already an expected part of the day you won't feel like you're being a drag on your companions (like I did!).

Good for you for planning. 1) walking will be very good for you. 2) plan ahead. Bring your Water and Snacks so you are not tempted).

Doing it my way it was good we did the meal plan so I shred my food with the others I had food ordered and delivered from a shopping service so I had my Protein Drinks and what not available. I felt great it was so much fun...
