Surgery yesterday, home just now! I feel good! I'm about to take a nap, though. Mmm, liquid Vicodin....

I have my last Dr appointment then will get my date. Hope it is in September. I too was worried about my Dr signing off.

He was actually on the mean side. Said why do that to your body? You will just be back here in 5 years the same size as you are now! I broke down in tears.... I've been obese for years and my records show it. I've tried every diet....every pill....hypnotized ...HCG shots etc... Then I got mad. He told me how he and his wife get up at 5:30 every day to workout. I had to remind him he's not obese.... When I told my surgeons nurse what my Dr said, she said it was time for a new Dr. I agree only I'll wait until after the surgery ! Anyway, got my letter and I am full steam ahead !!

Good for you! Don't allow others to judge you! YOU do what's best for YOU! You can and will move forward!!

I can't believe your Doctor said that to you.

My primary care doctor has been AMAZING!!!! He helped me through my 6 month supervised weight loss for the insurance approval and has always been a strong encourager! He is the one who told me to go to this Weight Loss Center to begin with.

I check in next week Wed. September 9th at 8:30a.m. There are four of us having surgery that day.

I am excited now, very excited.

You will get through this and I would encourage you to let your Doctor know how he made you feel.

It seems like it has taken forever to get here but here I am! September 3rd! I leave at 4:00 a.m. for the hospital.

Excited. A wee bit nervous and I haven't slept a wink. Instead I have been cleaning my house! LOL

But I wanted to thank all of you for joining me on this journey and participating in this post. I have met some fantastic people along the way. Thank you for that!!!!

I am an August sleeve my husband got sleeved today. We are excited about this journey together. I am having trouble understanding what the new full feeling is. I don't really get hungry but when I eat I don't feel full. Might not be eating enough. I have gotten pain in left side when eating. I think that is my sign that I am full. Might not be.

My schedule is scheduled for September 17th. My insurance is PAI. They don't require 3 month monitoring or a sleep study. I did have to get the psych done, take behav mod class, see a dietician and get surgical clearance. I just started my preop diet today and it was kinda tough with just being in liquids but I'm determined! My birthday is September 12th so HBD to me!

I am a lot better today then yesterday!! Yesterday I had really bad nausea! It was horrendous! But today it is gone. I got up and walked about 5 times yesterday. I have been up and about today too and had sips of broth, tea, Protein Drink and Jello. So far so good! I should be out of here tomorrow!!!
