Tasty but complete multi vitamin

Recommended Posts

so, I'm starting to get sick of the Bariatric Advantage multi flavor. The problem with most of the non-chewables are that they are so huge and the tasty gummies don't have much if any Iron.

Anyone know of a good one with plenty of Iron?

My surgeon and nutritionist have me take children's Flinestones complete chewable vitamins.< /p>

I take two with a meal.

They have Iron in them that is easier to digest.

I buy them at costco because that's the best deal but you can find them at Target, Walmart or any pharmacy.

Also Celebrate Vitamins has chewable multi Vitamin, they also have calcium citrate chewables and soft chews (I use these). They have B12 that I use.

These are just suggestions.

I second Flintstones. They don't taste too bad, especially compared to the other chewables I've tried. (I'm not allowed gummies at this stage anyway, so I haven't even looked at them.) I can usually find coupons for the Flintstones Vitamins, and they frequently go BOGO at our local grocery, so they're a pretty decent bargain as well.

I too am a Flintstones fan. It was suggested by my surgery team. I chew 2 a day. I especially enjoyed them when I was on pure liquid and mushy post-op phases because I got to crunch on something lol

Mine are Centrum Flavor Burst Adult Chews. They look like small gumballs, but the dosage is 4 per day. I would rather take these than some horse pill. I get them at Walgreens. They have Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, Folic Acid, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Iodine and Zinc.

When I went through my surgery, several on the board recommended trader joe high potency chewable. I take 2 of them and also viactiv chewable calcium(tastes like a tootsie roll) ,my surgeon supports what I take and also said that spreading out the doses during the day helps with absorption.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
