female only Feeling crazy sick today

HEY LADIES!

Woke up this morning so nauseous, I can't even stay standing. brushing my teeth made me gag tip I threw up. I am on Day 2 of my period. Only 3 weeks post op. Had really bad cramps yesterday but today is crazy. Yesterday, I had a Protein Shake, some egg whites, and a yogurt. Today I am currently choking down a Protein shake. Has anyone experienced this type of sickness during their period after their surgery?

I did not have this problem, but have seen similar issues. Others have said to contact your surgeon because they can treat it.

if the doctor didnt give a rx for nausea call and ask for one. I like zofran and it was essential for awhile. it is very important to be able to take your fluids in or you will wind up fainty and needing an iv. so treat this sooner rather than later and I hope you feel better soon. love sara ( rn)
