I've had nothing disagree with me....yet, so I would like to know as well.

Though, I'm 3+ months out so I think the odds are with me. Finger crossed!

It came back to haunt me in a much less appealing form.

Some comebacks are not inspiring.

Only disagreeable food was a couple bites too much of a good thing. Had reflux for a few hours, but it went away.

When I was able to start eating soft mushy foods @ 6weeks, scrambled eggs did me in and @ 5 1/2 mos.,they still get me, I can't eat high fat ground meat, steak, pork chops.

I couldn't eat strawberries for a while. Felt like sandpaper in my tummy. It's fine now. I have not had anything else disagree with me. Others have said that some high-sugar or high-fat food gives them the runs. Some people get gas or cramps with spicy food, or reflux. I'm fine with spicy food.

I'm 5 days out and I'm still trying to figure it out. Everything hurts going down. My stomach sounds like world war 3. I haven't been nauseous or had to vomit after eating anything in particular. I had some Beans today and I have to say the pain and the sounds together was a good example to me of a food my body is not ready to accept, which sucks because I loved Beans :( .

Most of us are on liquids the first two weeks. It might be a bit early for beans. What do your guidelines say? For what it's worth, I eat beans quite often and have since about 6 weeks out.

So, even though things are staying down, including eggs, my new tummy still sounds like a dinosaur fight.

I boiled the hell outta some broccoli, and thought that would do the trick. Sadly, it came back to haunt me, and I spent much of the next day in the bathroom. Otherwise, I have learned that stuffing in that extra bite or 2, despite what your sleeve is telling you means immediate regurgitation for me.

On a less gross note, most foods sit just fine with me. :)

Sorry you're still having trouble! I agree with the above post that you should focus on liquids right now. 5 days out means nothing will feel good. You haven't had time to heal at all yet. Give it a week or 2, and beans will be just fine.

Scrambled eggs with very small pieces of bacon. Tasted like heaven the first time...not so much the second time. It lasted less than 10 minutes before making its reappearance. I felt horrible for hours afterwards. I'm at 5 months and too scared to try them again.

The only other issues I have had were from to much of a good thing. Then I spend the next couple of hours regretting eating that last little bit of food. I have learned to not take that last bite of anything.

I still prefer yogurt, cottage cheese and Soups.

Beware of rice,

Take my advice,

Dear sisters and brothers,

It doesn't play well with others.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
