sounds like you are doing everything right. The only thing I added to your list is I use Garnier fall fight Shampoo and conditioner. Other then that it sounds like you are getting in your Protein and Biotin.< /p>

I have been taking Biotin since before surgery. I am 4 mos out and my hair is starting to thin out. I get 60-80gms of Protein in each day' date=' 64+oz of Water. I take my Vitamins and Calcium. Does anyone have some suggestions?[/quote']

Take Biotin 10,000 mcg by natrol and you can add Zinc too. My doctor said I should increase my Protein to 100 grams. Good luck

My NUT set a Protein goal of 85-100, maybe you could bump your protein?! I haven't had Hair loss issues yet but worry about it since my hair is thin to start with!

I've been told by several people, my doc included, that Hair loss in inevitable. I take Biotin too, but it can only help but will not prevent the hair loss. It happens to everyone 3-5 months post surgery. He recommended volumizing Shampoo, but also just to cope with the fact that its going to happen, but won't last forever. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Just know we're all going to go through it too :)

My doctor said the same. Things should get back to normal after 6 months.

My doc said the same also. It's from the stress of losing the weight so fast. Nothing is going to stop it but Biotin or other things might help it grow back quicker

I heard there is sublingual Biotin. Anyone know where I can purchase it?

Amazon has it, if you are a shut in like me ;) I also bought (eye roll but it works) Joan River's hair powder. It is in a compact and matches your hair color and comes with a brush, you just dab it on your scalp. Totally works. Google it. It is one of those monthly things but just order once and cancel. The brunette is very dark though!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
