pains but I can feel my bones.

Recommended Posts

Down 52 lbs went from over 300 lbs now in the low 250s. I can see my weight loss and also can feel my bones on every part of my body. I'm experiencing pain if people grab my arms or touch my legs. Some 1 hugged me around my shoulders. The pain made me scream. Is this normal.

Maybe someone else has experienced something like this and can chime in, but I'm going to say that pain that severe does not sound normal, and may not even be sleeve related. If it were me, I would get an appointment with my PCP to start with, and try to get to the bottom of it.

I'm so sorry you're hurting like that! Hugs are supposed to be nice things :( Take care, and good luck

That doesn't sound normal to me either. I couldn't feel or see my bones till I was under 200 pounds. No pain. Please see your doctor.

That doesn't sound good. How's your hydration? What prescriptions do you take? Could it be a reaction to a drug? Are you calling your doctor, like tomorrow???

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
