She has told the same story for 2 months to friends, and in ONE post she said it was untrue (after a long night of sweet talk from the doc), and then followed up to me, in writing, saying that she would rather people think she is a liar, than him lose his job.

Please let us know in what state or country can a doctor face criminal charges for consensual sex? American Medical Association has a guideline for ethics. AMA encourages the usage but its not mandatory. Most oaths and codes are administrated by voluntary associations not regulatory agencies. Their are limits on serious disciplinary action. Do anyone knows Mexico Medical Association policies? Criminal charges is way extreme. I'm no expert and always open to being educated about things. A article or website would be needed.
