I got the 3 week stall and was fine with it knowing it would pass . I didn't freak out I just went with it. So why am I freaking out over this stall at 8 weeks. Did anyone else have a stall at this time? I know I am able to eat more but obviously I am still nut eating anywhere near what I used to and only drinking Water so having no calories from liquids. I also went back to work 2 weeks ago when the stall started so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

In the past 3 months, I've had at least 1 two week stall each month. I'll go as long as 3 weeks with no weight loss (and sometimes a gain) then suddenly drop 2 or 3 pounds almost overnight. I haven't gotten use to it, but I don't let it freak me out anymore. :-)

I have been stalled for over a month now. Going back and forth between 223 and 220---it is driving me crazy, but my surgeon that was ok just don't let it get me down because it will be fine as long as I stay w/the program and believe in myself.

I'm dealing with my first long lasting stall now (sleeved 3/20) and it is driving me nuts.. I'm under 1,000 calories a day bounce between 50-100 carbs and sugar and fat are always under recommended goals. It'll pass.. eventually! :)

I have to keep reminding myself that I've lost 50 lbs already which is awesome for 8 weeks! If I continue like this it will come off! The compliments from my husband's best friend will have to be enough right now!

That's so weird when I saw this before the stall picture didn't show.

The day we were departing an Alaskan cruise there was a lady stuck in a stall on the ship.

I also stall for extended periods about every 20 pounds or so. I will lose steadily, a pound every day or so for awhile and then just stop cold. Sometimes I will gain a pound during the stall and then just start losing again. I just broke a stall this morning. I had been at 203 for a week or so and today l lost a pound. This one has been difficult for me because I really want to get to onederland. Soon. I am losing an average of 2 pounds a week.

I've been lucky and haven't stalled once, however my weight loss fluctuates. Some weeks its just half a pound others it is two pounds. After three weeks of half pound losses each week, I posted a 6lbs weight loss. Didn't do anything differently.

This week I will probably post my first gain. Nothing that I did, it is Water weight because of hormones. So I share your frustration. I know that at some point it will even out. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
