Question for the ladies...

Recommended Posts

So far, I'm in the same cup size but they're less full. Actually, they've gotten droopy. I told my hubby that once I get to my goal weight, after all the exercise I can do to "pump them up" LOL!, I may consider a breast lift. I don't wanna work this hard and have droopy boobs!

Mine got much smaller which I'm happy about but they look absolutely horrible...they are covered in stretch marks, hang so low that I could tuck them into my belt and no firmness to them whatsoever.

well, it is not that they got smaller it is my bra which got loose. I cant really notice them well but my bra said it all.. yes they are some how loose but with some strength training believe me they get firmer.

46DD to a 38C. I always had a big chest, even when I wasn't overweight. This is a great size for me. No backaches and running isn't too hard with this size.

This should not just be a question for the ladies. My wife tells me I've gained a few cup sizes in recent years as well! If I lose too much weight I just may consider implants. I don't want to have to buy a whole new wardrobe, if you see what I mean.

Unfortunately not, lol. I dont have huge boobs - in proportion to me, I am an E cup but 5ft 10, so I dont have the kind of bustline where people dont talk to my face. They suit me OK. But its hard to buy bra's for an E, especially when you've shrunk to an Australian 12-14 band size, its a speciality size, not an off the rack size.

I'm seriously considering a liposuction reduction to a D cup. I run a lot and I really could do without the wolf whistles and hoots on the main roads as well, they do cause a bit of a stir when they're bouncing up and down! I wouldnt go a full reduction due to the scarring, and even though they're a bit on the sad side after 7 years of breastfeeding 3 children, I dont really care about that either. I'd just like to be able to run in more comfort and buy bras more easily.

I have never been well endowed. The most I ever was, I wore a 46C. I have only lost 38 lbs and I am down to 44B. My breasts are already sagging with stretch marks. But I don't care. I can't wait till I can buy a bra off the "regular rack".

Later on down the road... A pin up/perk me up job maybe. Right now, I don't think I would be interested in implants.

I am a mammography tech, and it does depend on your age, and the make up of your breast tissue. When we are younger, the breast tissue is made up primarily of fibrocystic, dense tissue. Very little is truly fat. So if you lose when you are younger, not much should come from the breast, but a lot will lose from around your rib cage. As we age, it becomes more fatty tissue, especially after menopause. So as we age, and lose weight, more weight will be lost from the breast tissue comparatively to a 20 year old.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
