Anyone else intolerant of protein shakes?

I don't mind the Protein Shakes except that I have developed an intolerance to whey. It is really frustrating as many of the better flavored and easily available shakes are all made with whey Protein - if needing to get in extra protein many recommend Whey shots so I am a bit concerned as I am scheduled Aug 6th to be sleeved. I have bought an egg Protein Powder from GNC and while it is not bad tasting, it is not filling and does contain a good bit of cholesterol, so I am a bit concerned if this will be my only protein source for a few weeks.

Does anyone else have an intolerance to whey and if so what other types of protein powders have you tried that have worked?

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
