Inner thigh lift and tummy tuck

Recommended Posts

I went to Mexico for my sleeve. And i would recommend anyone doing it that Way. However, I just had a Tummy Tuck, breast lift and lypo in 5 areas. The tummy tuck is so invasive and the recovery is brutal that I would NOT recommend anyone going to Mexico for it !!!

I had it all done in Missouri. At Barnes Hospital with one of the top Surgeons here, Dr. Lund in Chesterfield, MO.

I had my sleeve surgery in Mexico with Dr. Kelly and his coordinator at the time Trish. That was a breeze.

My psychiatrist that I saw during the pre req said it could be covered under your insurance if you have evidence of rashes or extreme discomfort from the excess skin. Your primary care doctor may be able to approve it..

Tummy Tuck alone was 4,152 to surgeon. Then I paid hospital separately. But I had 3 things done at once so not sure how much I paid to hospital was for tummy tuck. Maybe 2,00 because total bill to hospital for all 3 procedures was 4,500 and the hospital bills by time in the surgery room and I was in there 6 hours for everything

The price in Mexico will be your best bet. The circumferential lift would lift you all around and the best for tummy, butt and outer thigh. You may still need to get an inner thigh lift too. I recently had some PS in mexico, wouldn't recommend my surgeon but I have heard from a patient of Dr Fuentes that he did very good work.

May we ask your surgeon's name? WHy you didn't like him. I would really like to avoid any doctors that fell under unsanitary conditions, scams, lack of pain control, etc.

I am 2/3 of the way to goal. Keeping an eye on this forum as preliminary research. Names of surgeons, good AND bad, is very very helpful.

I was told by my doc the circum lift will leave you with more like a mans figure. Those weren't his exact words. I can't remember exactly but it takes away the curvature.

One thing to consider in going to TJ is how far you live from mx. I just took a plane from San to lax to dal/fw to Missouri after the sleeve and it was so exhausting. I can't imagine being all bandaged up (probably with a drain or 2) for that long trip. *shudder*

That said' date=' I could be eating my words in a year or two, if I want work done bad enough.[/quote']

You are right. I just went thru plastics and its so invasive I can't imagine doing it in Mexico even though I did my sleeve there. If I did plastics in Mexico that included Tummy Tuck , I would recommend staying there 2 weeks or more.

I agree with you 100% AChristian! My TT was VERY invasive and I can't imagine having it done in Mexico either and having to travel back home but alot of people do it and seem to manage just fine. Maybe I have a lower tolerance to pain because I couldn't have done it!

Just a little update :-)

I traveled to MX and did indeed have my TT done. As well as a breast reconstruction with implants, a Brazilian butt lift, and tons of Lipo for the fat transfer. Let me just say that by that 4th day, I was ready to go home! :-) ready for a flight, ready for a drive, and ready to sleep in my own bed!

My pain from the BA. and TT were NOTHING compared to the burning and stabbing pains from the LIPO. I would do the TT and BA a hundred times- any day of the week.... The LIPO- not so much :-) but it WAS worth it ;-)

But again, about Mexico.... Not as bad as everyone makes it sound. I was fine to travel. I think it is important to be prepared about stuff! Bring a fanny pack for your drains (no one wants to see that crap) bring extra pain meds, have a wheel chair ready in all airports, and take a companion. It actually loosened me up and made me feel better to walk around a little more and move my parts :-)

So fear not ladies! I thought I was the worlds biggest wuss when it came to pain and suffering - so if I can do it- you can too <3

Thank you- i feel better and better every single day! it wasn't that bad at all!

Everything that I had done and some extra stuff I wanted paid before I got there (my accommodations, compression garments, extra stuff) I think we paid around 8000. That was with the butt lift- and I'm guessing most don't have that done.... So it's probably less than that- I just sent him full photos and asked for recommendations- and he was spot on with what he thought I needed. I also was seeking the Gummy bear- cohesive gel implants- and he offered them.

Great Dr- I have to say. Super caring, VERY knowledgable, and skilled! My body was a MESS and he made me look like a little Barbie. Dr Niebles is my new hero ;-)

I would do it all over again- no regrets

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
