Somebody Suggestion A Good Protein Bar?!

I bought the pure Protein Bars and I hate them! Ugh! It's a lot of Protein but they are tasteless. I was lookin into the Atkins bars? I see they have more flavors than chocolate and Peanut Butter. What kind are u guys tryin as a Meal Replacement?

Special K makes some great Protein bars. They have chocolate, chocolate caramel (my fav) and Peanut Butter chocolate. They have 10 grams of Protein and are at a nice price point. I can buy them at BJ's 24 bars for $17.99!

My nut had warned that Protein Bars with a lot protein grams usually don't taste good.

But most stores sell Protein Bars in singles, so try all different kinds. Speaking from experience though keep a list of how good they are. I bought a bunch of bars, liked some hated others and thought some were ok. Unfortunately, I didn't write down what I thought, I figured surely I would remember,... yeah, I promptly forgot when I went to buy more!

I have a problem getting Protein bars that aren't also loaded with sugar. I can handle sugar better than my Roux N Y wife, she gets heart palpitations, claminess, headaches, and light-headedness.

Careful of the ones with sugar alcohols. For some people they create excess gas or stomach cramps. I ended up with two days of gas. Learned the hard way.

Surprisingly- the Nature Valley ones aren't "that" bad* for you and are available at most supermarkets.

In the grand scheme of things- having 1/2 of the NV Protein bars and a Muscle Milk Lite makes a pretty good snack or meal. I have a super busy job and they are my go-to meals a few times a week.

*Providing you just eat one and don't rely on them for all your meals.

My favorite are the OH Yeah bars. Have them at Vitamin shop and vitacost. They are really good. Peanut Butter and caramel are the best.
