Is It Harder To Lose After Hitting Onederland?

Recommended Posts

I hit wonderland about 3 weeks ago (or maybe a month now) and i've only dropped 5 lbs since then. Crazy....I'll admit I indulged a little more than usually sugar-wise, but that wouldn't halt weightloss altogether would it?? I'm curious is once you hit Onederland its harder to shed the pounds? I jumped back on the treadmill yesterday and plan on doing at least 30 minutes of fast walking 3-4 times a week, hopefully to kick losing back into gear. Suggestions? Stories?

You will start losing more really soon! Your going tooooo kick A$$ with the exercise. Oh and drink lots of Water and take an Omega 3 capsule like fish oil or krill. That got things movin for me. ;)

I don't know if it's harder or not but I found that after about the 8 month point my weight loss slowed down a lot. I was at about 80 lbs lost by then and my goal was 110 lbs. It then slowed down substancially and has taken me a few months to lose the remaining 31 lbs. So at this point I am about 12 3/4 months and am one pound below my goal but my Dr has said I should lose maybe another 10 lbs. I am not worried about it, I don't really care if it takes another 6 months to lose it because I am comfortable with my weight at this point. I have often been told that the honeymoon period is the first 6 months and I think that is probably true, you will lose the weight the fastest at that point then it comes off a bit slower.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
