PS.

HOW DO YOU ALL GET YOUR WEIGHT TICKERS ON YOUR MESSAGES??? JUST WONDERING. NOT VERY "SAVY" WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTERS. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO POST A COMMENT ON MY OWN, WITHOUT IT BEING A REPLY TO SOMEBODY'S MSG...THANKS

Hi Michelle

You can go to http://www.weight-loss-center.net or http://www.ticketfactory.com and create your ticker. Once created copy the code and go to your profile page and click edit and go to signatures and paste the code. I hope this helps..

*sigh* okay, so it is "normal"!! Day 4, I was going CRAZY!! I needed to CHEW! I have chewed and spit a bread stick, a bite of spaghetti, a bbq chip, a green bean, and a bite of steak. it is so HARD drinking your food everyday! I am so glad I am not the only one. I felt so ashamed, but glad to know I am in good company!tongue.png

MoonSiren, it hasn't lead me to any eating disorders. It was just a quick way to soothe a craving during the early stages of being sleeved. Now that I can eat more foods and not just mushies or liquids anymore, I don't have those same urges. Thanks for your concern, but I don't think this thread is going to lead anyone down any eating disorder paths.

Happy Holidays!

Doing something once or twice does not mean that you have developed a disorder nor does it mean that you will. Habits take a long time to form and even longer to develop into disorders.

Please do not stress out about the possibility of developing an eating disorder if this is something you have done only a couple of times. That being said, if you find that you are doing it on a regular basis, then you probably need to take steps to stop the behavior befor it does turn into a disorder.

I did this about 3 weeks, I was so hungry and I automatically took a bite of a trix candy. I chewed it and then spit it out because I got scared about a reaction to the sugar. Nothing happened. LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
