At 8 months out of surgery n a 117 pounds lighter, I do kno dat I made da best decision ever. SW: 277 CW: 160 GW: 165. I'm 5 pounds pass my goal weight. Had Surgery March 19th

Congrats to you!!!! I'll be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow, hope to be as successful as you!!!

Hey y'all!

I'm anticipating a surgery date of 2/3/2014 in MX. Beyond excited. Not really sure what my goal weight should be though....

Hello,

I love all my rainbow sleeves, but we know different races experience different issues. I was sleeve October 1. Started at the highest 260, surgery day 250 and currently 222. I did not have Major issues. Normal but my 2 month anniversary is December 1. The only thing I notice so far,hiccups when I'm full. My skin is looking great, hair cannot tell u cause I keep it braided and sewin(lol) I don't do beef or pork, chicken and turkey has been my friend. I stay on my period longer cuz I suffer from fibros. I will keep u guys updates.

So happy to have stumbled upon this thread. I was originally scheduled to get the lap band & recently had a change of heart after reading some posts from others that had to have the revision. I am so excited to be getting sleeved on Dec. 17th. You all have done such a great job with your weight loss and I cannot wait to be a sleever & start reaching my own milestones.

I am so excited to be getting sleeved on Dec. 17th. You all have done such a great job with your weight loss and I cannot wait to be a sleever & start reaching my own milestones.

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

      Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
