Ok I have a question...how in God's name are you drinking 64 oz. of Water a day???? I used to be able to do that and more in a day, now I'm lucky if I get 16 oz. of Water in a day, seriously. The 30 min. wait after eating totally messes that up for me :(

I really don't know -- after about 3 weeks, it was just easier for me to drink water -- I drink it normally too -- no sippy, sippy, sippy -- so I really don't know. I just drink -- now some days I'm better then others -- on my bad days I'll realize 2 hours before bed that I have 32 oz. to drink and then I'm drinking like there's no tomorrow (and peeing in the middle of the night too )

For me and the Water... I actually start my day with a 16.9 oz bottle of Water before I do anything (besides taking my PPI). That really sets the stage for my day.

You're lucky Julia that you can drink your water with ease. It sure is easier for me now that right after surgery, but I still find it difficult to get the full 64 oz in, and unless I start my day with it - It doesn't ever happen.

:-(

I can't begin to tell you guys how happy I am with the sleeve and what a difference it has made in my life. It's just beginning to dawn on me that this is really happening and that I don't have to worry that I'll gain it all back or do something that will make the scale gods unhappy with me.

I really really am so excited for my future -- I just can't believe it -- I feel like I have to pinch myself!! :D

Thank you all for your support -- even though I haven't said it enough, you guys are the best!

Starting weight: 303.6

Today: 249.2

wow....thats soo awesome... im on my 4wk today and ive lost 20. please give tips on what you ate and what you did to get those results!!!

thanks

marisa

I do that too! But truth be told, I've always been more of a Water drinker the later in the day it gets, and I don't know why. You would think that after sleeping all night with having NO liquid that your body would be ready for water first thing in the am. But I find as the day wears on I drink more, more, more. Starting probably about 2pm....and right up until bed. The funny thing is my girls are the same way, downing water before bed...just like me!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
