Fat Burners

Recommended Posts

You should ask your Dr.

Keep your mind out of the "diet" mentality, and just let your sleeve do its job along with good eating habbits and exercise. I would be a little afraid of adding in diet junk chemicals on top of the surgery....Just my 2Cents...

I would just throw it away or sell it on Ebay, personally. You won't need it to lose weight. And you have no idea what's in it and how it's going to affect your body - it's an unregulated industry. Remember the phen-fen deaths?

I second (third) these recommendations.

Don't be impatient. Go to the gym, do your workout, and let your body do its own fat maintenance. I guarantee you that if you keep up with that, you'll lose a lot of fat -- fast -- without subjecting your poor stomach and digestive system to whatever's in those "fat burner" pills (most of them are just stimulants, which can be sort of hard on the sleeve).

Any time I have ever taken one of those fat burner things I have been sorry. The sleeve really does work. I know we want to speed things up... I know I sure do... but I concur with the others.... let the sleeve do its work.

take care

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
