3rd fill. Now it works

Recommended Posts

Hi there had my third fill on monday I have a 14 cc band I'm up to 9/5 cc now. Definatly feel a huge difference. Slow progression to normal food from mushies. I seem to swell after a fill for about a week then it settles. Definatly in or near the green.. Its more than halved my eating capacity. I was able to eat fair amount before and snack imbetween in moments of weakness. Not now.. :D congrats to being a 2. Thats fabulous.

Woo hooooo! I already feel a difference . Ate Greek yogurt around 8 am and I'm not hungry , it's like 11 am.

I suppose it depends on how big your fills are. Mine were all pretty big.(had 1/5 from surgery) My first 4/5 cc. My second 2cc's the last 1/5cc's. Now I'm at 9/5 cc's in a 14 cc's band in a short period. I've only been banded since july 3rd.. Hang in there.. You'll get there. Its a bit of a shock when you do. But a good one.

Good afternoon, I just had my 4th fill Wednesday and now I am at a 6.5cc, I am really starting to feel that I am hitting my green zone. Does anyone else start to feel depressed if they don't see numbers change when they get in the scale? ?

You'll get there soon I'm sure. I noticed a huge difference at 8cc just not a big enough one. Here I am now. Full full full. ;)

Ummmm, I just had my 3 rd fill and I just had dinner. Let's just say I was not supposed to be able to eat all of what I ate... I gotta get it together ..

You really can't go in the amount of fills. It would mean they had to be the same volume for everybody. You well get there soon. I wish I'd enjoyed eating while I still could. Although I feel full quickly and stay full I still mentally miss big dinner...

I have only had my first fill, and I feel no different, ;-( I'm ready for some restriction, my dr said I received 2cc and he will put 2cc more in a month. That's so long to have no restriction, I think.

I felt no difference on my first fill at all.. I did however stop eating before I was full and always waited four hours before eating again and never snacked.. I also followed weight watchers meal plan so I lost some weight.. I did find it really super hard was miserable being hungry. Now I'm there in the green I understand why you have to experience these hard bits. preparing you for itty bitty portions and loads of chewing. The month will fly by if you stay positive.. Hang in there.. Try to rememberer it usually took some times to gain the weight. It takes time to shift it...

Ps.. I'm sure there's no one dieting that didn't want more amazing, faster results. Thats the nature of the beast.. Imo

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
