Swollen At Port Location?

Yes, my swelling just went down, I was banded 5.22.12.

Its not red or anything just swellon underneath the skin above the port? Im on day 4 post op....

It is still very close to when u had surgery, your body will be swollen in places particularly near where the port is until, it all heals .. if u are concerned get the doctor to check it out .. normal swelling will go down after time tho once the healing process kicks in

It s good to hear that it takes a while for the swelling to go down. Mine is still swollen at the port site and everything else seems to be back to normal.Just looks like a lump.... looking forward to it not being so obvious

I was banded on 5/22, my port is still slightly swollen. It will go down.
