I'm 5'7 1/2" and 171lbs. I am still wearing a size 14, they're a little big but 12's are too tight still. I started at 270 and was wearing a size 20 - 22 (mostly Lane Bryant brand). Crazy how different it is based on body shapes.....

Funny someone said their skeleton size, I've always said, I think my skeleton is an 8, and the smallest I could ever be would be a 10.

I'm in the same boat - I have PCOS and this is my whole reasoning for getting banded as well. I'm getting married Nov 2011 and we really want kids, so here's hoping that with the band I will get my weight and this syndrom under control and be able to have kids! Good luck to you!!

Thanks for the replies! And congrats to all for your weightloss!!!

Wooohoo!

I have a mini-goal of 300lbs. I hope that by that time ill be atleast in a size 20. Im not to concerned with sizes. I just want to have babies!!!

Stooopid PCOS!

But a size 12 would be so nice. :w00t:

I work out on a occasion believe it or not. My weight is pretty evenly distributed.

I have never seen a size 12. I swear I was a plus size new born I cant remember ever shopping in the jr misses section. I went from 3T to 3X.. (well in my mind I did)

Keep the advise/comments coming. Im trying to take it all in :)

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
