Had my appointment for sleep apnea today.

It went really well.

I love the Dr. I have. His father is the same kind of Dr and so is his brother. I think that is kind of awesome.

Anyway, my sleep study is scheduled for May 5th and the follow-up is May 14th. I wish it could be sooner because I know I will feel so good after getting a CPAP machine and a real night of sleep.

Does anyone know if I will get the machine from the specialist or my PCM? How long does it take to get the machine? I am Tricare Prime BTW.

I am feeling so good about moving forward and getting out from under all this literal and figurative weight.

It took me about 3-5 days for mine to come in...The doc wrote me a prescription for the machine and i took it to a medical supply store and they ordered it and when it came in, they called me in and set it up for me and showed me how to use it....

I rarely use the thing though...I'm a stomach sleeper and i keep knocking it off...so I just stopped using it...My sleep apnea is MUCH worse when i sleep on my back; even with the BiPap machine...so i've given it up...
