  1. Thanks for your note! I'll look for references on your blog!

The surgeons assistant told me the surgeon usually does a 60 fr bougie & does a bypass too. The surgeon wants to add a band on top of the sleeve, in case it need it. I want to show the surgeon that small sleeve is better. If I can't get a tight sleeve, I may look for a different surgeon.

  2. ps. In case it would be useful, my direct email is apricot85@rcn.com

  3. Hi, Tiffykins. I saw a post once saying the sleeve size was associated with long-term success. I think it was your post. I've been trying to find it because I want to give my surgeon a reference that proves small pouch is better. I want a SMALL sleeve and the fundus removed.

Do you have any references in favor of small pouch or sleeve size? Thanks for any help!!!

    Amy

  4. Is there any reason the sleeve should not be combined with DS or BPD, or even regular RNY intestinal arrangements? Thanks!

You wrote this a while ago & I was wondering if this is still a problem for you? To me it seemed potentially related to thyroid. Sometimes the thyroid increases, shortly before it poops out & goes flat. AT least that was what happened with me.
