I live in Northern VA, in Fairfax County...Springfield area, how about you? I'm getting banded by Dr. Denis Halmi at Bluepoint Group at the Fair Oaks hospital. OMG! CONGRATS on your banding! YAY! So happy for you!!!!!!!!! 20 lbs is definitely amazing, you're doing awesome. Can't wait to be in your shoes.

I got my band Yesterday :-)...Still cant believe I have it...lol im already on day 2 and was not as bad as I thought It would be its just a different....and Im having a bit of a hard time cuz I cant figure out my body yet so I dont know if im hungry or if its an upset stamach...lol its very weird....

You can get them at any pharmacy. when they put the band in the fill your tummy with air to make space for them to insert everything into place. So when the surgery is over your stomach looks like a huge santa clause belly. hehe, so as soon as I started feeling pressure I started putting them in my mouth. It is a strip that dissovles and relieves the pain from gas. M-

I got my date for Sept 10th but it wasn't without lots of hassle the scheduler never even called me!!! I had to actually go up there and demand to see her.... I was like geez it's like this?? it almost gave me 2nd thoughts about having it but I got over it real quick once she gave me my date...now I'm only two weeks away...I start my liver shrinking diet tomorrow.... Do you guys have to do a liver shrinking as well??
