This is day 5 of my optifast shakes. Nothing elese other than crystal lite water and suger free no carbonated drinks. I walked into my mom house went in the kitchen to see what she cooked and grabed a piece of chicken before i realized what i was doing. Usually i keep my mind right about this but i really wasnt thinking when i went in her kitchen. I ate probally 3 bits of it. i knew after the first bit but didnt stop until my daughter walked in and said "MOMA!" I fell like such a loser. This surgery is way to important to me to mess up again. (The chicken dont even fell right sitting in my stomach). Should i call the Dr. office and rat myself out??? Have anyone elese slipped??? I promiss it wont happen again........

Thanks!!! I really beat myself up about this. I got it under control now.....And no it didn't mess up my weight loss i need to fix ticker but im down 28 pounds. 19 from low carb high protien Nut. put me on and 9 from shakes morning day 6. -

As I'm sitting here reading these post a girl that had GB just walked in the breakroom so I asked can you eat now like you did before your surgery and she said "now I can". She couldn't the first year but now and she is the size she was 31/2 years ago before she had it

I can't even look a food on TV I have to turn my head. I can't see how I'm gonna make it.......but I'm strong and I just got to keep saying every day that I can't eat TODAY. Sykes myself up to just get through one day at a time. -

My pre-op is just 5 optifast shakes a day and auger free drinks like crystal lite. NOOO FOOD! My head hurt and fell a little dizzy. Nurse told me to drink more fluids. I don't wont anymore fluids my stomach empty. Who want to drink on a empty stomach. Sorry to vent........ -
On optifast now. $140 for the 2weeks. Don't think their gonna give you anything elese. Maybe get one week at a time. I suppose to do 5 a day but only been able to get down 3 a day so far. Started Wed. Surgery on 26.

Wishing you luck in your new beginning! That's a good thing about the band. You are able to have a new start. Thanks for the post me being a pre band really learn alot from the more experienced bandsters.

Hey pretty lady! How are you doing? I start my optifast tomorrow and i'm praying hard i can deal with it. I hope you and your band is getting along well:) So much is going through my mind right now! Im trying to fing the good bad and the ugly so i wont be shocked. I know i got some things im goona have to go through some days im gonna say what in the world did i do to myself

About six more hours of eating and then NOOOO MOREEEEE. Start shakes in the morning really scared how im gonna deal with this.
