    Our bariatric group started a Zumba gold class which is for people that either haven't exercised much or lately or need adjustments to the moves. A regular Zumba instructor did the class and it was great. Oe person even did the steps sitting in a chair. Do anything that helps you to move. Nothing wrong with trying it and going on to something else.


  2. hello fellow June lapbanders. I had my lapband done in June and so far down 40 lbs. Feel great. People are starting to notice. Wore an expensive suit that I bought about 3 years ago and couldn't fit into shortly after buying it, but now it feels wonderful. Was big snug putting on 2 weeks ago but today looks and feel great!

    Have told a few people what I did. I pick and choose who to tell. but I have no regrets doing this. Finally something that seems to work without blaming yourself for no self control.


  3. Hi everyone---This is my first time here! I had LB on 1-12-10. As to date, I have lost 30 lbs. I lost 8 of that before surgery and most of the rest while on liquids after the fills. I follow my diet well, but have trouble with the excercise part. I work 12 hours on night shift, so my meals are pretty backwards from a regular eating schedule. I'm just wondering if there are other "Nite Owls" out there having problems with their eating schedules, or if anyone has any tips on speeding this weight loss. It's been a while since I've lost any serious lbs. and have been stuck for some time. Any advice will really be appreciated. Thanks!

    30 lbs is better than none or gaining. i just had lapband june 15 and am nervous. of course i want to lose it all now! i have about 80 lbs to go - lost about 14 in last 2-3 wks. keep working.
