I had never had a surgery done so I was afraid,I really didn't know what to expect. All I knew was I could not stop eating.I hated being heavy but I loved food and the way it made me feel.I had my surgery April 20th.I had no choice, diet's didn't work for me anymore. After my last diet and losing 20 pound's I gained that and 15 more.I was now over 300 pound's and in a food frenzy.I have lost 30 pound;s so far but it has not been easy,as a matter of fact I woke up depressed and shed a few tear's today.I go through emotional low's since my surgery.I am working with a thearpist because of my relationship with food.I guess when I got a surgery to lose weight I expected it just to fall off.It take's constant mental work for me.I just lost the extra weight I gained from the diet and 15 plus so now I feel like I am getting somewhere. But I have day's where I feel like I have a intruder in me and day's where I feel angry I let this happen to me{gaining all this weight}I am also a all or nothing person so it make's thing's difficult.I just no if I didn't have my Lap Band I would have already been back to eating after reality set in.I I just need to give everything ,including myself,a chance.
