  4. i havent been on this site in awhile myself, my birthday weight goal was to lose 60lbs, I lost 45, so no i didn't meet it lol, but my goal now is to lose 60lbs before June. I hope I can do this, i been exercising

(cont) As far as food is concerned I try to switch it up alot so I won't be tired, like tuna, and of course veggies (lots) with baked food, I make sure I eat a lot of black beans or some type of bean. As far as a shake is concerned it would fill me up if I drank them, but I don't. I rather drink Isopure which is like a protein fruit drink. Then actually eating food with protein and taking my B12's does add up to the protein I need by the end of the day. Sorry for the long spill, but I am just making sure I answer all of your questions.

For breakfast I Have these Jimmy Dean Turkey patties and put those in the oven, and then I may eat a fruit cup or a banana, my lunch/dinner consist of anything baked: chicken, turkey, roast, steak, pretty much baked things. I do not eat any fried food and I don't eat sugar. I use splenda if something isn't sweet enough for me. Exercising I have my own routine lol its like i put on my favorite music and dance with my weights and resistance bands, I have a 10 min yoga tape that I do (got it from Prevention magazine); I take Zumba classes as well but I haven't been to Zumba in a month because I start a new class in two weeks. I go walking on days when its not raining for about 30min and maybe 1 hour if I am feeling hyped. Also on some nights I do sit ups and leg winders while listening to music. Thats basically my routine.

Congrats on your weight loss, in July my shirt was a 3x and now i'm in a 1x but recently i bought an XL shirt and I fit into it, it is a little snug but not too tight but because in my mind i think i'm too big for it i was going to wait a few weeks to wear it, anyway I made a decision not to check my weight until October 1st, because i'm addicted to my damn scale lol it's best for me to do it that way

  13. thats good i'm glad you enjoying the mushies, i bet you felt good when you didn't cheat on the liquid diet, i know i felt happy about sticking to it lol, oh you know whats so good when you steam the broccoli and cauliflower together and mash them up really good with some salt and pepper and a dash of cheese....goood stuff. Anyway i get my fill Aug 25

  15. lol you can do it Mo trust me, I had to hold myself hostage in my room one of those days but I made it though girl if i can you can and you will be eating tuna any day now

I have to tell you I am more alert in the mornings, usually I'll still be tired and want to stay asleep, but now I been more energized, its probably because of my vitamins and my exercise I get in every week. And yes I would do it all over again, now I lost 17 lbs, my first fill is aug 25, i just can't picture myself smaller than what I am lol because I been heavy since the 5th grade, so I have faith!

  18. yes this my 3rd week, i get a fill august 25th i guess i'll have more of a restriction then, i feel like im eating too much, but my friend says i barely eat lol i guess eating mushies make me feel that way being i just came from liquid

  19. my mushies felt like i ate a steak lollll much better than the liquids, im happy with mashed up veggies and tuna, and whatever else i can mash up

  21. Wk 3 going good for me, my post op is okay i mash up all of my foods, my doctor told me my fill is on aug 25 so i can have a restriction

  23. Hey I read your post, and I felt like you were attacked, you just asked a question. To answer your question I didn't cheat on my post op diet but I felt like I could. But if you did cheat, it was that one time and as you said, you learned from it. And as we live our lives we learn from things. Wish you best during this lap band journey, I had my surgery July 12th, right now i'm in the soft foods stage.

  24. Good luck on your surgery tomorrow girl. Well my doc told me i can exercise whenever i felt i could, but i haven't done any sit ups because my stomach is a tiny sore
