    Five Weeks Post OP

  5. I've had the same thing at two weeks then at 4 weeks. Certain twists or getting up the wrong way and the pain was really bad for about 6 days then it leaves. I think it is something that I pulled like an inside stitch or muscle. I met someone who had the same thing she said don't worry it all went away. I don't know if this is what ur experiencing or not. Do let ur Dr. know. and let me know how u r.
  6. Glad you found me on here. I was also glad to meet you today:biggrin0:.

  7. Well Ladies & Gents, I'm excited to say I am almost 5 weeks out and I've lost approx. 20% of my weight I've projected to lose!!! I have not needed to take anything for my Diabetes or high blood pressure since the day of surgery, my clothes are definitely looser, and I'm more grateful than these words can express! Life is good and I'd like to say thanks to all you for your input! This is a wonderful website which has inspired me through ya'll's experience, strength and hope! Thanks again, Sheryl:aureola:

    Almost 5 weeks out!

:001_rolleyes:Just wanted to add a side note to you. I've seen a couple of your postings about your fear. If everything has fallen into place for you, then I feel this will be your path too. Could some of the fear be some of that 'ol self sabatoge? I've always excelled in that area, but for once in my life I decided to follow fate and see where it takes me. So far so good. I just take things One day at a time. It makes life & goals so much more attainable!!! Join us on the losers bench!!!

2 days to go and quietly freaking out

You all will do so well! I was sleeved on May 18th and have had very little issues with my sleeve. I stopped losing on week 3 which freaked me out but today almost the end of week 4 I've lost 4 lbs. and have read more on how to change eating habits to "work my sleeve" I'm feeling really well! Good luck and keep us posted! Sheryl

    Relay for Life

Congrats! I'm sure you did well! I just wanted to add how amazing you look! So proud to be a VSG sister with you! Thanks for the encouragement through sharing your experience, strength & Joy throughout this process! Sheryl
  17. Christie, your new pic looks great! I can tell your losing!!! Great!

  18. Hi, I'm doing quite well. I feel I may have pulled an inside stitch or something when pushing some stretchers at work. I'm calling Sandy to see if she'll give me a binder to use while I'm at work. I was on a stall, but after gaining a couple lbs. back, I've lossed those 2 + 2lbs more. Finally, I was getting worried. I'm so sorry to hear you've had such a time!!! Continue to take it One day at a time and sip, sip, sip,! Send me a line and share how you are doing, please! Sheryl

  19. Oh, I'm very excited for you!! I had my VSG surgery on May 18th. I'm feeling much better! It's still an adjustment, but all well worth it! Good Luck and keep in touch!

  20. I just read today and my Dr. also advises 3 meals and try not to snack. Eat your protein first min. of 20=25 gms and then veggies, fruit. Quit drinking 15 min prior to eating and wait 30" post meal to drink and one website said 90". That way you make the sleeve work for you and don't wash away the protein and feel hungry so early. This is what I'm trying now. If I snack it's usually sugar free!:001_wub:
  21. l'm sorry you met someone so insensitive as that. People forget everyone's experience with this can be very different. I've been blessed with no complications, but at week 3 my belly button & lower left incisions woke up! They're very painful and if I bend a certain way or get up to fast I get excrutiating pain. This is getting better and subsiding every day. I hope you are feeling better! The only thing I remind myself is "This, too, shall pass!":biggrin0: ps. I also had surgery at Forest Park, loved the experience there too!

    Eating Too Much

What is the 5 day pouch test? Week 3 I gained 2-3 lbs. Week 4 might have lost 1 of those lbs.??? I'm getting somewhat frustrated. What did you eat at this point? Thanks for your help, Sheryl:scared0:
