Good morning. It's been a while since I've been on here. I had my first fill 8/19. He gave me 2cc's and I have an appt for another fill on next Friday. So far I'm down 22 lbs and a total of 13 inches. I over ate yesterday and you're right the pain is unbearable. I thought it was okay because I could get the food down. But overeating with the band is like a bad marriage, it's easy to get into but hell getting out of. It's the same concept with the food so I will keep that in mind for the next time. Let me know how you're doing. Oh and not drinking while eating is a challenge for me too.

Had my first fill today. It wasn't all that bad, just a pinch. 4cc's and on liquid for two days now.
I have trouble wanting to drink with my meal but my hubby is always there to remind me of what I can't or shouldn't do.. LOL Over ate eating out and the pain was terrible. Never will do that again...chew chew chew slowly and prevent the pain. Let me know how you are doing! Good luck

Yes we did have our surgery on the same day. I won't say I don't have restriction because I can't each as much as I did before the surgery. On the other hand, I am able to eat more right now than I will be abe to once I have adequate restriction. I find that if I eat to fast it feels like the food won't go down but I haven't thrown up once. Remebering not to eat and drink has been a challenge. Good luck with your band. Keep us informed. When is your first fill?

We had our surgery on the same day! That is awesome to have someone on this journey right at the same time!
Hope your lap band does everything you hoped and more!
I have felt restriction and when I forget to not drink with my meal I feel pain in my left side under my rib cage. How about you any trouble eating?

I was approved with the first submittance and surgery is scheduled for July 7th. I'm excited and nervous. I've been thinking about what I'm going to do to replace my relationship with food. I've decided to direct sales biz to gather a little change for traveling abroad. I will also complete lots of projects around the house. -
So my date has changed twice but the final date is July 7th. I start liquids on 6/23. I'm excited, nervous and all kinds of different feelings. I just saw a picture of me from April and I was completely disgusted. I'm ready for change, I feel like I'm living in someone else's body.
