  4. crazzy to say i never really work out my legs because most of my weight i carry it on my upper body. i'm what they call an up side down pear shape. So as a result my legs seem to very stong, can't say much about top but i'mm working on it.

my start weight was 220 now 169 total 60 lb loss.

good luck with ur weight loss.

  5. I'm doing about the same as everyone else working out and eatting less. the biggest thing is getting to a good restriction, for me that is what went right. once i got good restriction the weight just fell off.

  6. Congrats on your weight loss... What are things that you are doing to loose the weight?

I want the weight to come off!

Thanks you guys, I cryed when I was reading the response. I know this wasn't going to be easy but I was hoping it was. By the way I do work out at least 2-3 times a week. My doctor is not the greatest when it comes to talking about my progress. The man always seems as if he's in a rush. At times I'm not sure if i'm being filled for real. Anyways thanks again ladys.
  9. Here is the deal, I was banded in the end of March of this year. I am 4 months post op and the weight doesn't want to come off. I've had 3 fills since surgery and the last fill I had I thought I might be finally at my sweet spot, but after a few days I could eat a cow,a horse, a ram partically anything and a lot of it too. I"m hunrgy all the time and crave all type of food. I also feel bad because I'm going through this and it makes me eat for comfort as well. Why am I going through this? I hate feeling like I'm not going to do well. I don't want to fall into the 40% category of people who failed their band. I want to be on the winning side for once:cursing:. I know I might be a little harsh about the situation but I feel like this is my last hope. I don't think I could continue to feeling like this for long. I want some sort of change. A little change would make me feel better. Any word of encouragement:crying:?
  10. I know the feeling, which I hate. My weight have been doing the same thing for the past two months. The worst part about it is that my weight never seem to drop pass 178. When I think I'm going to drop down like 2-3 pounds the scale it's like 4-5lbs up. The yo yo weight is driving me to the wall:angry:. I can't wait for it to stop.
  11. This saturday (6-26-10) will be 3 months post-op and I feel like I'm failing my band. I started my journey March 1,10 before surgery and I losted about 21 lbs. Then 2 wks after surgery I losted another 15lbs. Since then I've been flucuating between weight, which is very fustrating:cursing:. I've got a total of 2 fills and about 2cc out of surgery. So I may have a total of 4 cc's in a 10cc band. My problem is like everyone here I would think. I wouldn't have this surgery if I was able to do this on my own. I do put a lot of effort into my weight loss journey, but I feel like I'm not doing well. The weight is not coming off. I'm able to eat everything and anything, to top it off I'm always HUNGERY:drool:. Which I hate because I'm forcing myself not to choose something bad. I hate protein drinks but I do drink it. So I really don't know how to feel or what to do to keep myself motivated. My mind set has changed since surgery which makes me a little afraid. I would really like to see some more progress. I ask myself "when does bandster hell over"? Just need some word of encouragement.
  12. Happy to hear you are doing well. My second fill wasn't so bad, i did have pain. My weight loss has not improve much, it's been up and down but staying withing the same range. Wish I get out of it soon.

  13. Hello reginemichel sorry it took so long for me to respond. I just got my second fill too I went last Wednesday this one hurt:ohmy: , my first fill was pretty painless so I was a little surprised this time around but it wasn't that bad. So how are things going for you ? good I hope I have lost 49lbs so far so I can't complain hope to hear from you soon take care.

  14. hey, just wanted to check to see how u nr doing with ur weight loss? we had surgery around the same time and myweight loss has been at a stand. At time it's fustrating, i just got my second fill and i don't feel any difference with my restriction. (

sucks) anyways hope u r doing well

  15. Today I got my 2nd fill, which I think went well. When the doctor filled my port I could feel the fluid going in. Which before I didn't feel anything. So hopefully I could notice a difference for this month.

Today I also met several other lapband talk members at my doctors office. They were great, nice to have met them.
