Just an update to everyone. I am only 35lbs down. My surgery was December 8th, 2009. Welcome, Trapped! Surgery was surgery. I was in pain afterwards, but that is to be expected. Thank you, Faviola!

Hey Girl! I'm good, having my 3rd fill tomorrow. Second fill worked but restriction is wearing off. We all have to have set backs in order to succeed. Good Luck---Hope the fill helps xoxoxo

Welcome to this new journey in your life. A lot of people experience different things. I am not going to lie. I had a rough first couple of months but I think it was mostly because I was expecting to eat little portions and feel full and I wasn't. You have to focus on healing before you can focus on losing weight. That's a biggie! I have had two fills so far. First did nothing, second worked but the restriction is wearing off so I am scheduled for my 3rd tomorrow. If you have any specific questions or concerns just let me know. I had my first fill on the 28th of January also. He put 3cc's in it but I have no restriction at all so I am really thinking he might have missed my port. I am calling today to schedule a check-up/2nd fill.

Hi! I had my surgery done at Auburn Memorial Hospital by Dr Carl Weiss. I'm ok. Feeling a little discouraged right now because I had my first fill over a week ago and I have no restriction at all.

On a brighter note----I hope your surgery went well! Be sure to check in and let me know how it went. When your port area is really sore, heating pads help.

Hi Larry---nice to meet you. I am doing well. No weight is coming off yet because I can't get my fill for another two weeks. I am hungry all of the time. My scars are healing well and I am in little to no pain with my port area. How is your port area on your tummy feeling?
