Lol, I just noticed you answered my other post on this page and here I was looking for days on mine!

I didn't just go to one nutrition class. I went to one a month a few days after I saw my PCP for my 6 month diet. It was a pain, but I think it helped to prepare me better. I didn't have to pay any extra money, but that was because I began my lapband process last September and they didn't start charging until January this year.

I have three children. Jennifer is 23, Tyler is 18 and my baby, Evan, is 13. I work a lot, but then when I'm not working, I'm almost always home with the kids.

Hey! I have friends from Barnesville and my bf used to ride bulls down there. My boys and I spent many weekends down there over the years.

I started a thread for all of the current GA banders, so hopefully we can all use each other for support.

I am going on Monday for my pre-op visit and I'll start my liquid diet the next morning. I'll do the liquids for two weeks and then have my surgery on the morning of 9/28.

It's been such a long process from seminar to finish, that I'm more excited than I've ever been. You will love the entire staff at Dr. Gorjala's office. They really do seem to care.
