    Lose, lose, stall

I've been a scale wh*re since 2009.... I weigh myself every day. I logged for years.... i wrote every oz down. felt as long as i wasn't going up, i was good. It keep me on track... but some people can't and only weigh once a week, month or at dr. appt. You will have times where you will lose, then stay steady and then BAM lose again.... But the key is to not get discouraged and keep motivated. I used dry erase markers and wrote notes and messages to myself on the bathroom mirror to remind me I'm worth it alllllll.

@WishMeSmaller Yes, they don't have very much in women's clothing. But everything i have gotten i love. Great quality. They are on the pricey side. I have the olive green dress yet to wear. They are also easy to shop with. They send a return slip with every order. I sent the 2 size 2 dresses back and got the 4 with in the same week

Lying about not getting surgery is awful

definitely not ashamed... just chose to not have to deal with what I dealt with the first time.

Lying about not getting surgery is awful

I can tell firsthand that there is a difference in the way people treat you when they think you lost weight the "natural" way.

Here is today's new dress. @ms.sss.... I know, the bottom half is too big... heee.... Tim originally bought a size 2 which the bottom fit perfectly, but the boobs did not. So we sent back for a 4, now the top fits, but the bottom is too loose. It's black with lite pink dots This is the link to untuckit..... I love everything he has bought from them so far. https://www.untuckit.com/collections/womens-dresses/products/michelle-dress

to tell or not to tell is a person's choice. I've been on both sides of the fence and for me not telling is 100% better.

  20. god yes...... so much better not telling...... as time goes.. no one will even mention it. Simply say, i'm watching what i'm eating and moving more.
  21. Shan.... as much as I want to tell you that all your friends will be at your side.... The ugly truth is, they won't. It is a great thing that you have not told anyone. Is your mom a good "secret keeper"? I hope so. I learned the hard way the first time around with the band. I only told select people I thought I could trust... turned out no one was. It got out and that when the unsolicited advice started and questions... and the judgmental looks....The, you took the easy way out snickers. I regretted telling anyone, that's for sure. This time with the sleeve, only my husband knows...... 100000% better. Everyone knew I was doing crossfit to try to lose weight before my wedding, so I started laying the groundwork..... told everyone that i had a hernia (which was true Hiatel) and I needed to get it fixed. They also knew I was dieting for the wedding, so when the weight started to come off, no one gave it a second thought. After about 5ish months out when the weight loss was more noticeable, I got a few.... "how much weight you lost".... and "how are you losing"....... So I told them.. Not enough... hehe... and dieting. It's now been 1 year and about 8-9 months (8/28/19) and no one says anything. I went from 173lbs to 120-125lbs..... My advice............. DON'T TELL ANYONE EVER........... even after it's done.

    Joing a gym

I've never been a member of PF or any of the Chain fitness places. I did however join the Y for my first few years. It was fine. I started with zumba, treadmill, bike and then moved to some weights. Then my now x husband said I was "skinny enough", so he canceled the membership and signed up at some local "meathead" gym. Turns out this is where his "Girlfriend" joined too....... I was a fish out of water. I knew nothing abut "working out". I'm a good follower in a class setting. Fast forword.... to a band removal and a divorce. I moved out of state and joined a fitness place.... it was beautiful and had everything you could ask for but i didn't know what to do and would walk on the treadmill and get bored and go home. I didn't know what the hell to do. Then as luck would have it, i was talking about working out with a co worker and he suggested Crossfit..... Changed my life..... This place is great. I walked into the gym (no mirrors), change my clothes, meet at the computer monitors. The owner would then go over the work out and show us how to do everything. He adjusts the workout for those of us who are "challenged" physically. Example: john over there can lift 100lbs and or run a mile..... I, can not.... So instead i lift 20lbs and row on the rower. Give Crossfit a chance...
