Congrats Ash!!! I sent you a PM.. so do that when you feel better! Hey everyone! Here's my quick update.. Yesterday I went in to have my final physical exam with a Dr. (forgot his name) we just had to go over stuff like if I was still on certain meds or not... Now I have ONE More Mandatory Appointment this Thursday.. its a 4hour long class so I'm taking the entire day off.. is this for the nutritional class? I gotta look at my papers again. Ok folks i'm down to my last 3 weeks.. PLEASE if you have any great tips Ideas.. or what not.. let me know.. i've read my binder over 50 million times and they just gave me a VSG packet last week which i've read 50 million times.. any other info I might need to know? also tips on what I should bring to the hospital? I know I'll be in there for at least 2 days ... so yeah.. any and all info helps.. Thanks!!

Morning Everyone! Ok so I talked with one of my co-workers here and this morning I'm sending an email to my boss, and also my H.R. lady that I will be out on these dates. also, I'm not asking.. i'm "Telling" him.. so that's that! Chrissy Congrats on your Surgery Date! I'm excited for you!! FINALLY on to the next level!! Jess, I decided to get the VSG. I think this procedure takes a little longer and so is the healing process.. but after all my research and what not.. I feel very comfortable about my decision. now i'm just starting to get a little nervous about "having surgery" part like the "what if this happens".. I guess everyone goes thru this huh?

thanks Pam.. I plan on more than just standing my ground.. he has no idea... He's messing with an overweight lady that has has the opportunity to have a surgery to make her skinny.. and he wants to DELAY IT??!!! .. like I said "hail to the "F" No!" i'm not gonna get physical or anything like that.. although I have thought about using my tae-bo skills to the test.. lol.. but.. a piece of paper with pen with my union backing me up on this.. is just as good...:thumbup:

hey hey!! (drum roll please)...My Surgery date is for June 16th!! wooo wee!! FINALLY! TOOK MY FAT BOOTY LONG ENOUGH! ok.. i'm not too excited because they initially offered me June 1st.. but MY BOSS IS being a BUNG hole.. and now he's having issues with my Surgery Date.. I told him I would not change it.. I've WAITED TOO FREAKIN LONG FOR THIS!! so... now i'm waiting on him because we're suppose to have a meeting about it.. we both had a huge blow out this morning in his office... and then after that I went straight to my Union lady... I WAS LIVID. he wants me to schedule my surgery for JULY.. HAIL TO THE "F" NO!! like I said. I waited, worked, and worked out toooo freakin long!! and just because he doesn't have his stuff together doesn't mean I'm willing to pick up his crap... AT LEAST NOT AT THIS TIME.. sorry I'm just venting...i'm happy but mad/sad cuz now I gotta deal with this BS..

Hi Everyone!! ok so I had all my blood work, EKG, 2nd psych eval- and I'm clear!! well.. I'm just waiting on the call back from the Bariatrics department for my Nicotine test results.. and then..next if all goes well... they set up an appointment with my case manager... pray or wish or hope for me that everything goes well.. I've been trying ALL YEAR LONG.. I'm almost there! Any advice, pointers.. anything in regards to the VSG also would help!! thanks!!!

Hi Ladies!! I've been MIA again but I wanted to give you an update.. I'm fluctiating my weight between 182-185 which is a good thing. I have my 2nd pscyh eval on May 4th along with all my blood and EKG work. From there.. its scheduling my surgery date with my case manager!! Woo hoo!! I decided also that I'm going to get the VSG instead of the Lap Band. I think this will work better for me. I also moved.. I don't know if I mentioned that already.. but yeah.. I'm still alive and kicking :smile: I Hope all of you lovely ladies and Gents are doing well!! I'll be dropping by time to time just to give you updates..

Hey Hey! Ok.. My scale is off ;( but not by much so I got a couple more to go. But I'm pretty positive as long as I'm consistent in my eating habits and workout... this is gonna happen.. I'm soo excited! and Scared.. haha.. ok ladies jus wanted to drop in and give ya'll an update~

Hey Sexy Mama's and Papa's! Just wanted to let ya'll know I'm still alive and still Kickin! I'm now down to 188!! woo hoo! I emailed Dr. Park she said go ahead and jus call Liz BUT.. I'm going into Kaiser today to do a weigh-in FIRST- JUST TO MAKE SURE.. I'VE BEEN WANTING this badly so everyone wish me luck! if my weight is the same as Kaiser's scale.. then for sure I'm making that call today!! woo hoo!! I'M SCARED AND EXCITED! ohh and I asked Dr. Park about the Verticle sleeve too.. she said YES! I have that option- so i've been doing all my studying.. and my final decision.. is the Verticle sleeve. Ok off subject, I know theres a meeting of all of us comming up.. can someone give me an update on where and when? I might be able to make it this time! ok well Happy Tuesday hope everyone is doing Well

so does anyone know if the Sleeve is now a part of the option for WLS at Kaiser?

mornin Everyone! First off- I wanna say thanks- Cuz I sincerly appreciate everyones support on here. Honestly? It keeps me going~ Even if I backslide on you guys and go M.I.A. or regain, lose, regain, lose.. I was a victim of Domestic Violence with a man that I thought I loved and had children with .. for 20 years I've been Physically, and mentally abused.. and we'll if anyone has time or is interested.. this was my life: KrAzy, SeXy, KeWL...: LaChica Now Moving Forward - My plan is to Call Liz on Monday.. My goal by then is to be at Least 2-5 pounds under my pre-op goal..I just wanna make sure I got this on lock Question: They offer the sleeve now? how is this better or not better than the Lapband or Rny? Alright its 8:00 am.. time to get on the Work grind!
