    Any runners out there?

    I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did my Half Marathon this past sunday.. Ran 13.1 miles in 2hr 24 mins and 55 seconds! A pace of 11'18" min mile

    hair loss

    Had a question.. I have long hair (past my bra), Thick(well used to be), Do you think cutting it would help reduce the hair loss? I am 8 months out and its still falling out at a good rate.. I have a follow appt at my surgeon Thursday so I am going to see if they could do blood work.

    Want to start running...need encouragement

    So i know its still 7 days a way but right now the weather say RAIN, wind of 9mph and a temp of 40.. Not looking forward to this.. I have been pretty lucky and have never run in the rain.. What would you advice me to wear? Its going to rain here in pittsburgh monday-wednesday, I might try to go outside and run in the rain to get a feel for it.. kelsey

    11/09/10 1- Subway 6in chicken sub, wheat, no cheese, light mayo, 1/2 bag of Baked BBQ Lays 2- Light Babybel Cheese 3- 1/2c Homemade Chicken Tortilla Soup, 1tbsp Lt Sour Cream, 1tbsp Salsa, 1 tbsp FF Cheese 4- SF Jello with 1 tbsp Cool whip 5- 2 buffalo Chicken Strips, 1tbsp lt ranch 6- 1/2c Chicken Tortilla Soup, Sour Cream, Salsa and Cheese 7- 1/2 Protein Shake, vitamins Totals= 1281 Calories, 153 carbs, 75 pro 45 mins Cardio, 45 mins lifting. Bodybugg=3541 calories Burned

    I was told to put sunblock on them once they are healed because sun with change them colors
  6. I am around 1500 a day.. I am a runner and running about 25 miles a week, I am still losing weight with that amount of calories

  8. I said the same as other weight lost programs.. It takes work, its not a cake walk, you still need to measure your food, track your food and workout..

    yeah i have 30-60 lbs more to lose as well.. Just gradually up your calories each week and if you stop losing weight just drop them down a little again. It feels weird eating that many calories but its working.. Your body needs the extra fuel. Its a matter of eating healthier foods that happen to be high calorie choices.

    I am not billoh but I am running about 25 miles a week, training for my half thats is in 2 weeks.. I am eating about 1500 calories a day... Running burns lots of calories, so you need to eat more to make up for all the calories being burned..

    Bodybugg users report here!

    Do you have to keep the online program to keep using the bodybugg. I am coming up on 6 months of having my bodybugg and I will honestly say i dont really log my food online. I like to log it more in a notebook.. Can i keep using the bodybugg with my watch display without the online program?
  13. I work for West Penn Health System.. I dont believe we are going anywhere, we are dropping west penn because they werent making $$ .. Thats just another rumor from UMPC, Though i would see UPMC taking over the world down the road but i dont feel my job is in turmoil at this time
  14. Nope I have only seen him at West Penn.. Either way i am staying with dr ubrandt. My insurance home host is the west penn health system.
  15. yeah i live in monroeville so i understand.. West penn is to stay open until the beginning of the year.. (jan 2011)

    Hey... I wish there was one in pittsburgh in nov.. I am doing one is Cleveland Nov 22 (i believe) its a run through cleveland metroparks its a loop run (doing 2 loops) they said its flat and all paved.. Its not an ideal half but i needed one before the beginning of the year..

    I am a runner and I love it! I am 233 lbs now. I started in june with one mile 3x's a week and just built up.. I have run 3 5k's , 1 10k and I am running a half Marathon next month.. My runs are 2 5milers and one long run a week.. Running is addicting!
