  1. Totally agree! They actually just came out with a new shake called IsaLean Pro which is a mix of the IsaLean shakes and IsaPro shakes. They are sooo awesome and satisfying with more Protein less sugar. There is NO better protein to be putting in your body AT ALL! I've done researcj for three years! Look at my results, they don't lie! I give all the credit to Isagenix for the health transformation internally and the energy it gives me!

  2. The Protein Shakes are the only thing like them on the market. They are 35 grams of UNDENATURED GRADE 7 Protein from GRASS-FED cows in New Zealand that are free range, with no hormones or antibiotics injected. They have a patent on a lIVE ENZYME which helps with the absorbtion of protein. Most if not all protein powders on the market have around a 60% absorption rate of protein while Isagenix has 99%. That means the protein you are drinking is most-likely not all getting absorbed. Know your product that you are putting in your system. I was SOOOOOO uneducated during my lapband process on good quality nutritional supplements. I now devote my life to educating others and getting this amazing stuff in them! I would love to help all you. I have had AMAZING weight loss and fitness success since Isagenix and my surgery. I wouldnt have gotten there faster if I was doing Isagenix from the start.

  3. Hey guys,

So I have almost 3 years out on my lapband surgery. I lost 120 lbs and have been keeping most of it off. I started gaining some back and became fustrusted and a friend turned me on to Isagenix. OH MY GOSH!!!! I have having better results with using Isagenix then I EVER DID IN 3 YEARS OF Protein Shakes AND DIETING. The key is nutritional cleansing and rebalancing. I have NEVER had this much energy and the weight is still coming off after 3 years!!! I would love to share more info with you. Message me for details. Seriously it is a life changer for us lapband people who need Protein shakes and good clean eating, organic nutrition!

  4. NO NO! Please dont get too scared. I have 15 months post op and have dealt with shoulder pain most the time. The first 6 months mainly. Its gas pains that all. I now get the pains super bad if I drink through a straw, chew gum or sit too long (over an hour). I have every test under the sun....thats all it is. Ive done tons of research on it trust me. After any laposcopic surgery, gas likes to stay in the shoulder. Dont do anything that will cause you to suck up air... (things I listed above)

  5. So I asked about this prior to surgery but I want to hear from someone who actually went through it. What was the process you went through reguarding your band when you got pregnant? Take out all Fluid? Then Were there any complications? Did it affect it at all? I feel my port really bad now, could you see it or how did that work with your belly? Also, did you have a natural birth and if you were you scared the pushing would do something to your band? Also, did you again a lot of your weight back annd how did that make you feel? Were you able to get filled back up right after your baby was born or did you have to wait? Were you able to lose the weight fast due to having the band? Im a couple years away from starting a family but I am still thinking a lot about this.

  6. Totally agree. I mean I have gotten 100s of anwsers to questions from people on here but if I have learned one thing, its that not every rule oof thumb applies to every bandster. Everyone has different experiences and preferences. I take everything with a gain of salt and take it to my doctor. Most things I take for face value and use it but nothing of big concern.

  7. I agree with what was previously said. AGE is a huge factor. Im pretty young, 25, and my skin has done AMAZING!! With that said, I know its also because I work out a ton and do a lot of TONING. Toning is the key to shaping. You need it. If all you do it cardio, you will lose the fat but be saggy. You need to do a combo of both to ensure tightening. It has been amazing for me. Only problem areas I have had are my arms (which my trainer said is the hardest to get rid of skin) and my boobs. I will need to get a boob job or lift. The skin is pulling. Hope this helps!

  8. It was an easy decision for me, prob too easy. I am only 25 and already in debt so this added almost 15000 more in debt. To me I was miserable and unhealthy and felt like I had no other option at this point after all I have already tried. From day one I felt confident about my choice. I dont think i EVER doubted it cause I knew it was going to be work and I knew it wasnt going to happen over night. I am now 13 months post op down 80 lbs from a size 22 to a 12. I am super fit and toned now. Im only 28% body fat now before I was 53%. Its just the best thing ever and worth every penny of debt!

  9. Thanks. Im keeping things down great. After a 13 mnths being banded Im pretty much a pro at knowing my limits and how to prevent vomitting and PBing. I for sure keep liquids down, but some days they hurt going down but I am a gulper so thats my fault. But ya 13 months out I usually can eat my steak and chicken and pork and right now its like no go. Ill just give it time

  10. So Last week I got food poisoning and yesterday I got a throat infection and pink eye. I have been SUPER tight this whole time since I started gettng sick. Has this happened to anyone else? I mean I am constantly getting tight one day then loose the next...but this has lasted a long time andf started when I got sick and has gotten tighter since I got sik again. Anyone feel me?

  11. Ok so Im getting to the point where I am looking into some "fixing" of my new body. The only thing I think I am going to get done is a breat augmentation. Has anyone gotten one done or looked into it seriously? What I dont know is if I need to get a "lift" or an actually augementation. I have heard the lift leaves bad scarring. I would rather go bigger and fake to avoid more scars. WOuld love some feedback!

  12. Im South beach all the way too! Its what my surgeon and Nut HIGHLY suggest doing. I get my carbs from minimal amounts of unrefined starches (brown rice, whole grains, etc). Its basically high Protein, low/no sugar and carbs, high veggies, minimal fruit. It has made ALLLLLLL the difference for me. Its helped me overcome EVERY platau and stall in weight loss. I started it a while back and it worked but I didnt stay strict on it. Now at a year our I am struggling with these last 25 lbs so I went back on it and off comes the weight. Its an overall healthy "diet". In my opinion its well balanced and a lifestyle change not a short fix. Read up on it and check it out. The first 2 weeks are the hardest (if you follow the SB diet strictly by its stages). You basically onlt eat veggies and protein, no carb at all. This helps stablize blood sugar levels and fights cravings. I dropped 5 lbs the first week. Then you slowly add things back into your diet. Good luck!

  13. Im a year out and still suffer from it BAD. I have learned to control it a bit. Drinking through straws and chewing gum are my enemies! They give me massive gas pains. I get them mainly in my left shoulder. Also if I sit for longer than an hour, I get massive gas pains. Its just weird. After surgery, the gas was the worst part. My friends who have had the surgery have not suffered from it like I have. Again, I still get it.

  14. I went through this big time and still am a year out. Some sizes I stay on for a month of two and some sizes I zip straight through. I madr the mistake of buying tons of clothes at each size, needless to say, my friends and family have been benefitting nicely from my very gently used clothes at each size, many clothes I never even got to wear. Iwork out a TON and do a lot of weight lifting so even though the pounds are not moving, my inches are melting off. I move a new pant size on average every 2 months. It gets expensive.

  15. Thats no where near enough for food me. I dont eat 3 meals a day. I eat prob about 6 times a day, small "meals". I wouldnt even call them a meal cause they are too small. Your meal looks good, I would just make sure you are adding some healthy fats in there: olive oil, avocado, cheese, etc. You need these things. I also dont see too much dairy which isnt a biggy, but its something I make sure I get plenty of

  16. Haha its the weird things that change that we would never have thought of!

I went from a ring size of an 8 to now a 5.5. My shoe size shrunk from a 9.5 to an 8. I wear less make up now too cause Im more confident. Its just such a transformation. I am still working on taking compliments and not seeing a "fat girl" in the mirror still. Its hard to die to our old habits that trapped us for so long. Congrats and keep it up!

  17. 1 week post op I was only supposed to do clear things: Jello, popsicles, broth, gatorade, etc. My doc/nut said as long as I could see through it, it was ok. I didnt move on to cream of wheat, yogurt, other Soups, milk, stuff like that until 2 weeks post op. Every doc is different but the things you listed are fine. There is no a whole lot else I really did. Lots of gatorade (G2 less cals and sugar), popsicles, broth, milk, yogurt, cream of wheat, Protein Shakes, ....ya...I didnt get too creative.

  18. Ok so I am a year postop down 73 lbs. I am at 5.75cc in a 10cc band. I feel like I am at great restriction. My issue is when I eat, I am hungry within 1-2 hours after. My meals are super small cause I usually start getting stuck before I can get a good size meal down. So I usually stick with eating small amounts but often. This has sped my metabolism up nicely. My concern is am I not supposed to be getting hungry that often? I am eating mostly Protein which is supposed to satisfy you longer. I dont know. maybe my body has juust gotten used to eating often? Could the faster metabolism have something to do with it? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a fill?

    Please help!
