Ok so it has been a long while since I posted this question and I wanted to give a quick update. Husband got the promotion. Bariatric treatments of any kind are excluded so we are going to do a self pay option at the beginning of next year in Dallas! Thanks for everyone who responded.

That is such good news BlueTattoo. My husband just got a promotion and we now have blue cross blue shield of OK so we will know very shortly if it is covered. So if all goes well I can be banded by the end of the year!

Look for skymoon1982 or bandedwendy on youtube. They have been such a help to me! Ive watched all their videos and they have amazing stories!! They give so much information and really tell it how it is, the good the bad and the ugly! Im sure they will help you as much as they have helped me! I would have probably cried too! But I really hope they dont schedule mine around my monthly! Its going to be hard enough being naked in front of a room full of strangers!!! -

I saw a post you made from 2007 that you were with united healthcare and that you were waiting on insurance approval. Did you get approved? How has it been since? I am trying to find an insurance company that will provide coverage but all of them are saying no. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
