I'm in plateau hell and feeling pretty crummy about it. It's not fair that I workout as hard as I do and do all the work, yet no budging on the scale. So unhappy right now.

I am so proud of you. Today I feel so down because I've been working out a lot and doing things right yet I'm still on a 6 week plateau I just can't seem to shake. I can't even bring myself to update my tickers for the lack of progress. I was lying in bed wondering how I can stay very positive right now. So I thought, let me log in today and search out some before and after pics for inspiration. I didn't even get to search. Right there was your post and when I saw how pretty you looked in your size 10 and that cute flower on your head, I just cried. I cried because it is possible and because I feel so proud of peers like you who've made it there. I'm going to keep looking at your size 10 for continued inspiration. Thank you so much for posting those pics today.

Hey Ladies!!! If you are in the Dallas/Richardson, TX area, we are going to attend a meeting on Wednesday, May 8, 2009 at 6:30 pm in the Richardson area. This meeting is led by a registered nurse whose had the lap band herself...this is an extremely educational group where you can get your questions answered by a professional and someone who's there with us thru the journey...Hope to see you there...

Things are great! I'm down to 214. I can't believe I finally had a super awesome month- lost a total of 10 lbs and fit into a snug 16 but still consider myself between 16 and small 18's. Whoohoo! I'm so excited. I hope I can keep up the momentum since I've had a really rough time.

OMGosh!!! I've had a few firsts! I bought a LARGE at Buckle! I hit under 220---I'm 219 right now! Yuppeeeee!!! And finally my belly swelling from surgery went down so things are looking good! Got rid of a few "tent shirts" oh yeah! Soooooooo happyyyyy!!!

I understand about having a group you can meet up with but why not start your own here in LBT? That's what my friend did by creating Dallas Divas...we all just keep an eye out for profiles in Dallas and invite them to join. I'm sure it will work for you! Nice seeing you stop by..,. Mua!

Oh my gosh! R you ok now? Where you able to get your unfill? I've been so crazy busy these days! I got to visit a support group where I live and it was pretty interesting. What was nice is that I felt that I belonged. Girl keep them cute pics coming!

Hey Girly! I'm feeling good this week since I finally got off my horrible plateau of a month and lost 4 lbs just last week. So happy it's moving along! So... is Vegas fun, or is it just all hipe??
Oh, and I'm trying to figure out if my band is too tight, my friend said it might be since I'm having too many slime episodes-YUCK! and some of those choking moments where you see your life flash before your eyes...we will see... but nothing but happy thoughts right now... -

It's been hard with this crazy plateau I hit immediately after surgery but finally, and I don't know how, but I'm losing a pound or two every other day for the past two weeks. I was thinking about posting something about small sizes. I WISH I could be a size 8 or less but I really have no clue if my body could do it. I've always been big.

Amber...you look so amazing! You're an inspiration to me. I just got banded on 12-20-08 and am still learning. I hope to find great people here since I know 0 people here personally in TX that I can connect with on this topic. I'm so happy to have found this site with all these nice people in it.
