Hi Anna, How are you doing?? I know I've been offline more than on. I went to an OA retreat this weekend and it was very helpful. I am OK, physically, I'm mostly struggling with that sinus/throat problem-still no solid diagnosis nor resolution. Other than that I'm hanging in best I can. Thanks for saying hi. I hope your well. xx

Hi Stacie, How are you?! My endoscopy is sceduled for this Friday at 1:00 pm. I spoke to the doctor this morning and he was very responsive to my questions. I will let you know on Friday how it went. Thanks for thinking of me today, you are so sweet. I sure hope you are doing very well. xx

Hello Anna, Nice of you to post a message my way. I'm OK. Still aiming at resolving some of the lingering quirks about the sleeve sugery and personal issues. How are you doing??

I am not sure if the problem I have had throat/mucus/sinus discomfort and soreness is related to the hiatal hernia possibly re-occurring. It's just speculation and guess work on my part. I am going to have an upper endoscopy early July for a check to see how the inside of my stomach and esophagus appears. I am also going to get a second opinion from another ENT w/regard to a diagnosis of LPR or Laryngopharyngeal Reflux. Something's going on with my throat and the gastroenterologist doesn't agree with the ENT's diagnosis since I've been on PPI's for many months now. I'll post a blog to keep people here informed. thanks so much for the compliment...I rarely allowed my picture to be taken while a HEAVY weight, but I know my sister has one which she took at a wedding a couple of months before I had the surgery...so when she gets back from vacationing in Jamaca, I'll have her email it to me and post it-

Stay tuned...as soon as my sister gets back from vacation I'll summon her to email those pictures of me pre-surgery (the ones she took at a family affair; the ones I deleted as quickly as I downloaded them!) For the benefit of my sleeve sisters and brothers I will break down and reveal to you the very insulated me. Thank you for the compliment.

Hi, welcome to VST. I'm Lis, had my sleeve 9/15/09. I just want to thank you for putting up that post in, "Re: Speak up those with leaks & infections!" I hope it is not deleted by the group moderators at VST, because it's so important that people who are considering surgery in Mexico have that information. At least it gives them some serious things to consider while making a decision. Thanks so much for your effort.
