Anna, Thank you for your compassion and understanding! You were one of the first people to validate some of the intense emotions I was grappling with. By you being able to identify with me, and offer me caring thoughts and insight, I felt less alone in my grief. Tiff, when I was in crisis, straight out of surgery you came to the rescue. Your story of struggle and survival was like a life-line to me when I was literally in the depth of despair. You didn't skimp on offering me your wisdom, strength and hope. Your concern is genuine and consistent as you have answered the call of numerous others who had concerns and/or distress, pre and post op. You are a blessing to us all. Thank you.

Nikki, Thanks so much. I will post some updated pics when soon. I'm yet unable to retreive my "before" pics (since I hid away from the camera most of the time). Three weeks out and your excited! You are doing so well in pacing yourself and making the best of fulfilling the requirements to gain the approval of your insurance. The time you take in therapy and self reflection now, will prove to be such a benefit for you when making post surgery adjustments. Thanks for writing. I'm glad you decided to blog and look forward to reading more from you.

After reading your blog posts I wish I would have blogged pre surgery. Had I, it may have helped me get through the post surgery fear/anxiety and depression I experienced so profoundly. You are really ahead of the 8-ball and that's admirable. I usually don't push this surgery since I've personal reservations, however after reading your post, I totally support your decision. I think it will be very rewarding.

I so look forward to you having a successful surgery. I hope you will adjust quickly and reap the many benefits that the lost weight will produce for you.
