Another pound down this week. It's such a good feeling to see the scale move in that direction for once in my life.

JT. Glad you're home and doing OK. What a few more scars between friends. I have so many my body looks like a roadmap.

The dreaded uniboob. I know. I'm still in my sports bra. Looking for something equally comfortable. How wonderful!! Let us know the cookbook debut.

Have had a rough couple weeks. Drove to NJ for a 5 week vacation. Drove back a week later as my DMIL's health failed. We lost her Sunday. With stress, road food and minimal protein, I stayed the same last week. But today at weigh in I lost 5 lbs. My Turkey Challenge was 15 lbs and I've lost 17. Woo Hoo.

Morning all. First of all I want to wish JT well today and to thank everyone for their condolences. Although it's been a rough couple of weeks for us, with driving back and forth to NJ, road food and the stress of losing my DMIL, I managed to lose 5 pounds. My weight this morning is 244.

Sad News. My DMIL passed on Sunday night. I'm so glad we got home in time to tell her we loved her and kiss her goodbye. Sitting vigil is not easy. All I know is that she truly is in a better place. The new Toby Keith song "Crying for me" says it all.

One of the reasons for my surgery to lose weight, is to have major abdominal hernia surgery. My goal is to have a tummy tuck at the same time. Why waste a hospital stay right??

Hey Everyone, Sorry I've been out of the loop. We left KS and drove to NJ (a 21 hr drive) a week ago Sunday for a 5 week vacation. Long story short my DMIL's health suddenly failed and we had to turn around and drive back this past Tuesday. They said she was waiting to say goodby to her son. She's still with us, but we don't know how. Needless to say with road food and stress I'm a mess. Will keep you posted. Congrats to everyone on their weight loss.

Bradley, Yes my first fill was 5cc. Everyone I told thought it was a bit much, but I felt fine. I then waited 6 weeks & called for my next fill. They said I should have called them same day and their next opening was in August. I went but he said I was still losing so he wouldn't adjust me. Then last week I went and he gave me .5. I think I'm doing good.

Welcome Shar. We're a good group. I'm six months out and I love being banded.

Great job. I'm jealous. I gained 1.5 lbs this week. Had a fill last week and really not with it. Having a hard time eating, so I just haven't been.

Phyl, How wonderful. I'm just excited when I go shopping in my "closet" and some of my thinner clothes fit. Woo Hoo.

Yippee. Good week. Was sick Wednesday and couldn't eat. Had a fill Thursday. And weighed in 5.5 lbs lighter of Friday. Yee Haw

Yippee. The scale read 250 this morning. I was sick on Wednesday and couldn't eat. Had a fill yesterday so I was on liquids. That's 5.5 lbs this week Needless to say I'm a happy camper.

Hi Yall. I'm up .5. I'm scheduled for my second fill on Thursday and I'm on the fence. Sometimes I feel I can eat way too much and other times two bites and I'm sick. The Dr. wouldn't give me a fill in August because I was still losing. I don't get in all my calories daily but find I'm always over in my carbs. I was told to do 70 protein, 30 fat and 50 carbs a day. Any suggestions?

Morning Everyone. Scale read 255.5. That's up .5. I'm scheduled for my 2nd fill on Thursday. We'll see.

Great Job Phyl. I'm two years out. Had my left knee done at my heaviest and the recovery was really hard. I'm planning to have my right knee done in June. Looking forward to being thinner. My neighbor is having BOTH her knees done today. OML I wish her well. Keep up the good work. Judy

Hi karenin. So sorry to hear about your Mom. Was she hurt badly. Hope your search is short and all goes well. It's beautiful here in Kansas. We are heading out to a community picnic in a bit. Congrats on your great weight loss.
