I went to the doctor today and was told i have a enlarged esophagus and have to be on liquid for the next 4 weeks if anyone else have/had this problem please let me know how you handle it i am just very scared of whats going to happen any opinion let me know my ears r wide open.y6:sad::thumbup::smile2::blushing::thumbdown:

I've heard about that happening to other people too! I have no idea how that happens! How much does your band hold?

Sorry for the slow response. I haven't been on lapbandtalk lately. I've lost 66 lbs. and am 14 from my goal as of 2 or 3 weeks ago. (My boyfriend has hidden the scale from me!) I may have lost another pound or so since then... feels like it. He's going to set up an exercise routine we can do together and wants me to wait to start weighing myself again until then.

hey how u doin finally took my bum to the doctors and got a 1cc fill i am now up to 1.5 cc i do not know how because i got a 2cc fill da last time back in feb

Hey! I answered your email before I saw this. hahaha Don't get too down on yourself it will only make you go crazy. And it's impossible to loose weight when you're stressing. What was your starting weight? Cause when you think about it on average people with the lap band only loose about 50% of their excess weight in the 1st year. So if you are looking to loose about 120lbs then you are right on track and still doing better than 50% of people with the band in the first year. Sorry I'm a math and science nerd so statistics and percentages help me put things into prespective. hahaha

hey i see we share a band date and you have done so well how did you do it i have onlyy lost 60lbs and is getting very depressed about it so i decided to seek to fellow bandster help before i go crazy

It's not what i expected but i do not regret it one bit I love it the process was quick and not painfull

oh wow...that means you mmust live close to me. I am 5min away from the Hospital and that was important to me...the distance. How is your journey with the Lapband process?
