im looking forward to getting back on track and meeting new people

  2. hi juniper

im also considering a revision. im going to south america in july so i will get an unfill then once i go back to have Fluid added back i plan to start my process. i have lost weight with my band and im happy for that but i certainly need to lose more and think a different surgery will help me get to goal.

my band is not all the way full but i never wanted to fill it to the max, i always wanted some wiggle room. i wish you success in the next phase of your journey.

  3. you know what i dont eat Breakfast much...at all. i work out around 6:00am and usually dont eat until around 11:00 or so. i read something that stated you should try to eat soon after working out so i did do that this morning. i knew i needed to adjust a few things and i think these tips will help me alot.

thank you all for responding im going to start eating earlier even if its small and definitely drink proteion after my workouts. im working out harder than i ever have so i want the best results.

    btw...congrats on your great loss

  4. maybe the gap between meals is too much.... then the body goes into starvation mode and we dont loose weight.

i never thought about that. i have been only eating two meals with no snacking. i went to the various sites to see what my calorie intake should be and it averaged about 1900-2200 daily with my activity level. thats way to high but i know something is going on. im calling the dr ofc on monday but i just wanted to get some ideas on how others are eating.

    thanks

  5. What are you using to calculate your calorie burn? Machines such as treadmills and bikes are notoriously inaccurate. So are calculators like the ones at Livestrong.com. Not saying you aren't doing 700 worth of work, just wondering where you are getting your numbers.

i have a polar heart monitor with the watch and chest strap, i dont go by the machines. and these last two weeks i have not been to the gym, i started turbo fire. so i will only be in the gym to weight train.

  6. I am sure you burn more than 700 calories a day. You probably burn that amount sleeping for eight hours. Do you mean you are burning when you exercise?

    yes burning during exercise.

i never really paid attention to calories i mostly focused on Protein. but now since i have started a new workout program im burning more cals but im not seeing any results.

  7. hey barbie

im here still trying to keep up. congrats on onederland, thats still my goal. if i get to 199 i will be happy.

so i did have a rough couple of months but i have been focused and finally started back getting my fills. i just started doing Turbo Fire and im enjoying it. its hard but fun all at the same time. i think i have found what i need...am i in a relationship or what lol.

anyway im hoping to hit 100lbs lost by our 2 year mark. i lost 8lbs from my last WI and im aiming higher than i ever did before. i wake up now at 5:30 just to workout. i find that its better that way and the kids do not disturb me.

i hope more people post i would love to see how we are all doing.

  8. Only One Pound

Hello, do you know me? If you don't you should. I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm Only One Pound, just a pound. Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one, so I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it, that is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight. Yes, it's fun being Only One Pound of fat, left to do as I please. So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost one pound." ( as if that were such a terrible thing!) For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing. And I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you. Happy Days!! After all, I'm Only One Pound of fat!!!

  9. hi

well i went for a 2 mile walk today. i was so winded. there use to be a time when i could do 5 miles and not be so winded. my goal is to get back to that point.

im not focused on how i've done wrong because my gaining speaks for itself and the fact that i only did 1 miles. my focus is to make better eating choices. when i started i never knew i would be one of the "slider foods" eaters, hope that makes sense.

i've decided to start back journaling my food and tracking my Protein. i lost better when i was more aware of what i was eating. also i use to come here at least once a day just for support. even if i never posted just reading posts helped me more than i knew.

i just want that attitude back that i had in the beginning when i first started.
