    Been MIA for a few days....was my bday this weekend and lets just say that I enjoyed every moment! I really had to work on portion control especially since my unfill this week. Today: B - Pure Protein Shake S - decaf coffee w/milk and splenda L - yogurt and two tiny crackers w/a dab of hummus (sample) S - two bites of chicken D - pinto beans, chicken, zucchini, sprinkle of cheese & salsa 3/4 cup S - 60 calorie pudding and tsp of peanut butter Workout: 30 minutes high intensity cardio and 25 minutes light weights focus on arms and abs

    B - Pure Protein Shake S - Went to costco - sample of ravioli L - nonfat decaf latte, w/ piece of challah bread S - all bran crackers, cheese D - egg whites and two turkey sausages (felt like bfast) S - some yummy banana bread and milk Had an unfill on Tuesday - I am way to loose now.

    KCMAGU - OMG - you look AMAZING!!! CONGRATS on the success!! B - Pure Protein Shake L - Lean Cuisine Fett. Alfredo D - Turkey Chili and some cornbread S - Peanut butter and graham cracker I had an un-fill yesterday and I can eat almost anything. I ate pasta for lunch...I am worried. I seriously am able to eat more than I was last week. This is sucky....what to do???

    Went to have an unfill today - they took out all they put in last week...immediately felt better. Seriously being too tight SUCKS. They recommend I go back in a couple of weeks for a fill if I need it. KCMAGU & LULUC - thanks for thinking of me! KC - How was the party? Call me lame but where are the pics? B - nothing - as I had a unfill scheduled L - Pure protein shake D - pudding 60 calorie and pure protein shake S - oatmeal w/some peanut butter and a tad of jam...absolutely delicious since I haven't really eaten in 5 days. Went to the gym today...did some moderately high cardio for 35 minutes.

    very bad band day...actually am a bit worried. was filled on monday and only ate broth. Tuesday had some mexican meatball Soup, wednesday had some ravioli w/pesto, thursday chicken soup and friday was some chicken avocado roll appetizer thing that is fried....it got stuck and came back up. today i have been struggling all day...this is what i have had and outcome b - pure Protein shake - took me a while to finish s - some WW crackers - just about 4 l - protein burger w/cheese from in-n-out...only ate 1/3 and got stuck and i slimed for what seemed like hours and finally came up. have been uncomfortable for most of day since then. s - tried a pure protein shake - wasn't cooperating d - nothing - s - tried a pudding and stayed down. I started to drinking Water in the pm and it went down fine. Am I too tight? Do you think my band slipped?? I am worried. Thanks in advance....oh - sorry this is a LONG ramble.

    KCMAGU & LULUC - let me know how the ravioli comes out. I am interested in your modified version. Yesterday: B Pure Protein Shake L - couple bites of chicken and beans S - all bran crackers and 1 oz cheese D - 1/2 cup chicken and mozzarella ravioli and pesto sauce S - vanilla oreos...I knew I shouldn't have bought the packet. Today: B - Pure Protein Shake L - 2 small pieces of popcorn chicken and one potato wedge - half came up. S - 10 all bran crackers and 1.5 oz cheese D - 1/2 chicken soup and one bite mashed potatoes S - 60 calorie pudding and 2 graham crackers

    Went to get a fill today and all is okay w/my band even with my stomach flu episode! I have also lost 12 lbs since my last fill in November...I do admit that about 1 - 2 lbs of that was from my sickness...but I will take what I can! Today: B - nothing because of fill L - pure Protein shake D - couple bites of broth S - Carnation instant bfast

    Have had a GI virus the past two days - I did vomit quite a bit yesterday and am worried that I may have damaged my band. I have been able to drink and was able to have half a slice of toast. I had an appointment for a fill on Monday so figured I will see then. Have any of you ever been sick while banded? TIA.

    Jackiebee - sorry to hear about having to go to a funeral - I'm sure it was a stressful day...my condolences. Yesterday: B - Pure Protein Shake L - 1/2 bowl of black bean soup from Panera, couple bites of bread D - went to an event and had little bites of: steak, risotto, sushi and several bites of dessert :thumbup: Today: B - Pure Protein Shake L - Lean Cuisine Meal - chicken and creamed spinach 180 calories S - All bran crackers and cheese D - 3/4 Black bean veggie patty w/cheese and 3 bites of black beans S - 60 calorie pudding Worked out 30 minutes high intensity cardio and 20 minutes light weights focusing on arms and shoulders

    Today B - Coffee w/splenda splash of milk S - pure protein shake L - pure protein shake S - 60 calorie pudding D - cream of potato soup (lowfat) S - 60 calorie string cheese and 60 cal. pudding Did 30 minutes intense cardio & 45 minutes of a gravity class I am trying to get back to basics.

    Been snacking way too much these past few days. I need to get back on the wagon...am even thinking I may need a fill. Am considering going on liquids for a few days. B - coffee w/splash of milk/splenda and bite of french toast L - 1/2 cup chicken soup - ate very little of broth, a couple of bites of mashed potato S - chocolate chip cookie D - bunch of leftovers: bite of chili, 2 bites of yam, 2 bites of roast beef S - couple bites of persimmon cake w/lemon jam S - 10 All Bran crackers and 1oz cheese Seriously need to stop snacking...when I write down everything I ate, I can't complain that i am not losing weight.

    B - Nothing L - 2 oz colby cheese & 20 All Bran crackers (pretty yummy - tons of fiber and only 120 calories for 18) D - 3 mozzarella sticks I'm hungry but cannot think of what I need to eat...will probably have either a pure Protein shake or 60 calorie pudding....

    B - Pure Protein Shake S - small handful of almonds L - coffee w/splenda and 1/2 biscotti S- 1/2 Fiber one bar D - DH and I had date night! Some crab cake, a tiny bit sole stuffed w/shrimp, 3 small bites of mashed potatoes and a couple bites of fruit crisp. Glass of wine. Dinner was over 2 hours....way too long for food to digest and keep eating.

    Isn't even worth mentioning what I have had the past two days...a lot of grazing and junk. Not proud of myself, but am owning it and moving on. today: B - Pure Protein shake L - samples at costco: one piece of ravioli, bite of chili, slice of apple S - coffee w/splash of milk and splenda D - 3 oz of the most wonderful, amazing steak, small scoop of mashed potatoes and some zucchini S - 1/2 cup chocolate cake :thumbup:

    A lot less - I am sorry for your loss. B - Pure Protein Shake L - went to souplantion (salad/soup/bakery buffet): 1/4 cup black bean soup, tiny bit of a muffin, tiny bit of spinach salad S - 1 oz of colby cheese, 1 tsp peanut butter D - bowl of chicken tortilla soup and a few bites of bread crust S - 1/2 of red velvet cupcake (very very very proud that it was only 1/2!)

    Today was my son's 2nd bday....we had a party for him so it was a BAD day full of grazing... B - 2 bites of french toast - didn't cooperate rest of the day grazed: some cheese guacamole phyllo stuffed w/brie and raspberry empanadas quiche cake - actually A LOT of cake flan coffee Like I said, not a good day.

    Mini goal by New Years Day?? Any takers??

    Congrats on reaching your goal! I'm at 7 with a goal of 8 - 10. I need to get out and exercise and avoid the oh so tempting holiday food. I am committing to working out 3 times this week...I usually am busy w/my kiddies but I am going to do serious workouts. Hopefully that will help!

    I have eaten so bad the last two days that I was too embarrassed to post. Lets just say there was a lot of cookie batter, Cookies and Peanut Butter fudge bars. I realize that I cannot have things like that in the house because I will eat them...and they go right through the band. I packed everything that I made and gave it away...it took me two days to do it...which means two days of crappy eating. Today I woke up and made a commitment to eat properly. B - Pure Protein shake S - coffee w/splash of milk L - 1/2 cup of pintos, grilled zucchini and salsa S - 60 calorie pudding and 1 tsp of peanut butter D - Pintos, grilled zucchini and corn, shredded beef ate about 1/2 cup total S - 60 calorie pudding, 1 tsp peanut butter
  24. I have only been banded for a couple of months and have had wine or cocktails a few times. When having wine, I will drink slowly prior to dinner and a few sips during dinner. As for cocktails, I have had them once and it went with no food. I didn't notice a change as far as how fast it hits me...but I am more cautious since I consume substantially less food.

    B - Fiber One Chewy Bar (really need to go to TJ's and buy protein shakes) L - 1/3 cheese enchilada, a few bites of tostada and avocado D - Went to holiday party: a couple of meatballs, some nuts, a little red wine and m&m's (hit the kids table for those!) S - Came home and for some unknown reason felt it necessary to eat chocolate chip cookie dough... :confused_smile:
