It a really hard ask when we have all done diets in the past and failed, but we only need to believe in the process. I was a doubter too. All you need to do is stick to your teams plan and have some patience. After you have stalled a few times and stay away from the scales as much, it will sink in that you are steadily loosing.

I lost 16 lbs in month one and 12 lbs in month 2, so at seven weeks out you're ahead of where I was.
I started out at 373 lbs and bottomed out at 138 lbs (I've since gained back c. 20 lbs). Took me almost two years to lose that original 235 lbs. So I wouldn't get too nervous yet if I were you...
the two weeks with no loss - as long as you're following your clinic's program, it's just a stall. Probably the first of many. Just stick to your program and stay off your scale for a week or two. As long as you're compliant, the stall will break and you'll be on your way again. They typically last 1-3 weeks.

I am 7 weeks post op and only lost 25 pounds. I haven’t lost a single pound in over 2 weeks. Has anyone else gone through this and then still continued to lose weight? I thought for sure by 8 weeks I would be down 35-40lbs. I am nervous about not losing anymore weight.
  5. Congrats!

I am 3 weeks post op today from the gastric sleeve. I feel great, I have energy during the day, no pain and I am down 20lbs. So far it has been all liquid diet and pureed Soup. Today is the first day I actually feel hungry and want food. I had a half of can of chopped tuna but I am still hungry. What were you all eating/drinking at 3 weeks post op?

Good luck! I had surgery 2 weeks ago and everything is going well. :)))) ... Stay positive and have a supportive person the first days after surgery. It is too much new information to handle. Medicines, meals, activity (walking).

I hope you're feeling better! Here are a few last-minute tips that may help:
Follow your surgeon's pre-op instructions carefully, including any dietary restrictions or fasting requirements. Pack a bag with comfortable clothes, toiletries, and any other essentials you may need during your recovery. Get plenty of rest the night before your surgery. Have a trusted friend or family member accompany you to the hospital and be prepared to stay overnight. After your surgery, be sure to follow your surgeon's instructions for post-op care, including taking any prescribed medications, getting plenty of rest, and avoiding strenuous activity. Stay positive and focus on your goals. Remember, you're making this change for your health and well-being. Good luck with your surgery, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

Good luck tomorrow! Follow your medical team’s instructions. Don’t be afraid to ask for pain or nausea meds if you need them.

Here’s my advice: trust your medical team, stay calm, and think about all that you’ll gain rather than what you’re giving up! 2 years post op here and down 180 lbs from highest weight. I’ve gained more confidence, the ability to be more active, good health (good A1C score, no more sleep apnea, no more high blood pressure), a better relationship with food, etc, etc, etc… Good luck tomorrow and the days to come.
